Quiet Ear was great driving music. I was blaring it from my car!

Jesse Kaminsky:

Here's some text on this 'W' track: Attempting to write down "what we normally don't take note of, what we don't observe, what doesn't matter: what happens when nothing happens, if not the weather, the people, the cars and the clouds."
This is what Georges Perec set out to do on October 18, 1974, sitting at a table in place Saint-Suplice, in Paris: to grasp and stop what falls below the threshold of attention through writing.
We recreated this attempt by anchoring ourselves to the five sites in Bologna urban fabric indicated by the W signs (an art project by by Kinkaleri and Xing), declining it through listening and voice, and returning a sound memory fixed in a recording." recorded December 2019-March 2020

hey northguineahills, nothing like a tailwind!

I like Georges Perec, but unfortunately, all of his witty wordplay is lost in translation.

I was in a Wawa, and I heard the Rapture, Millie Jackson, and the Specials. I had to pinch myself to see if I was actually in Orange Park, FL (outside Jacksonville).

The translation of Perec’s A VOID is kind of a marvel though.

This is cool. It’s like I’m cooking dinner in Sweden!
Avatar 7:41pm
Jesse Kaminsky:

Hey Jeff, you're gonna be cooking dinner in a tuba by a hydroelectric dam pretty soon!

I rarely go out in the sun in the midday. I pressure washed my parents' driveway (about 60m) and sidewalk. I'm now literally officially a redneck....

I also like Mazen Kerbaj's trumpet duet w/ the Israeli Air Force when they bombed Beirut (he recorded it from his balcony). It's rather tragic.

Hey spodiodi! Of note: Die Angel is Ilpo Väisänen and Dirk Dresselhaus from Pan Sonic!

Ike: I saw Midnite Gospel. I liked it, and since it had Pendleton Ward doing the animation, it makes it more of an adult Adventure Time, even the though any 'plot' is purely coincidental.
