Artist Track Album Comments Images Approx. start time
  "Everyone comes in with their own ideas about what healing music can be. It can be anything, really. That’s what I learned from Deep Listening with Pauline Oliveros. Healing sounds can be the sound of water moving in a stream, or the sound of a radiator banging. Your body is always trying to physically and mentally connect with the sounds around you. That’s a very subconscious process."
- C. Lavender in interview with The Creative Independent

I keep thinking of the classic Cluster & Eno album as I enjoy C. Lavender's mix. On my college station in the early to mid 80s we had a show called Synthescapes very much along these lines and that album was one of the big hits, so to speak.

@Haversack, No - what's that?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm melinda:

@c lavender I'll try that
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm Handy Haversack:

@C Lavender: It's a platform bed with transducers at all the chakra points hanging in a geodesic dome set with a LOT of speakers. A healing device. I had experience with one growing up -- I think the inventor was in north Georgia. It's a pretty wild ride, as I recall.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I think it was during Bryce's show the other day and my neighbor was running a wood chipper to eat up sticks. Normally, I'd be annoyed by the roar, but I accepted it as more drone to go with the radio.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm Andrew_in_WI:

@chresti, my dad was a caretaker in Yosemite in the forties. Lived alone in a cabin for a spring-summer-fall. Every day went and fished for his food for the day.
