André Stordeur (Born: 1 March 1941 in Haine St Paul, near La Louvière, Wallonia, Belgium. - Died: 7 April 2020) was an Belgian electronic musician and composer. He started as a drummer in 1959. In the early 70s he began to compose electronic music. In 1973, he founded the Studio Synthèse in Brussels. He also participated to avant-garde music ensemble 'Studio voor Experimentele Muziek', founded in Antwerp. He studied in IRCAM in 1981 and then became a sound synthesis teacher, publishing a guide to modular synthesis in 1997.
