Listener comments!
Hi, everyone!
I have the Eddie Bishop track on an old Kent records comp called Floorshakers. Every track is a killer.
Hey, Phillippe! We are ending the work day over here and SUPER GLAD to be hanging out with fine people like you!
Mic level sounds good!
Loving the show! I’m getting my first cat on Tuesday and I’m looking forward to playing your Cat show from the archive that evening! Hope all are safe and well.
Where did that time go?
Cynar negroni
I made one for my love.
Cynar negroni,
One for you, my dove.
I guess it’s Friday lol
TGIF!!!
There's something red in Spanish olives ...
How did they get it there?
It doesn't seem quite fair
that there should be a red thing where the pit once was --
But then it is quite tasty ...
And the occasional man!!!
Thanks Phillippe! Hope to do another before long
@ParUbi, I don't *think* so?
I've so much it's unfair
Why don't you take a share
Sheila, Kate keeps calling out, "why is she worried? it all sounds so wonderful!"
So it ain't just me saying it.
(This set is already off to a blazing start!)
hope everyone’s bearing up well
Don't fall for the productivity propaganda. Some folx just don't know they are traumatized yet.
And honestly, as someone who has been going outside to anti-socially take walks, get fresh and and such, I find the outside world to be exceedingly stressful nowadays.
I’ve grieved I the past in massive ways for family and person stuff, and honestly the waves of this are 100% the same.
Jeri(Geri? not sure of the spelling of her first name) Southern does a heartbreakingly beautiful version of "How Did He look" . I hope you can find it. I'm sure you will love it.
Hang in there girl! We will all get through this terrible time. You and the other amazing DJs at WFMU are truly essential workers! I can't tell you how much the music and companionship of your voices helps.
Now the subways and buses are another stores. The buses are always crammed in a way you can never socially distance yourself. And the subway is consistently like 3:00am on a weekday but even worse. Mostly hobos and you can socially distance but some are aggro and unstable and nobody else is there many times. And during rush hour the trains aren’t crazy packed ut still you can’t socially distance.
I think we should all enjoy doing old man and old lady things. Like just walking around the block once or twice.
Be cool, everyone. Glad to hang out with you!
Jarvis!!!!
Thanks, Sheila. We'll be in good skeletal hands with Joe next week.
thanks, sheilab! arigato gasaimasute!
Thanks, DJ Sheila B!
