"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:21am karlward:

Not sure if I should play the Wake Up vinyl zero times to keep it mint, just one time to keep it near mint, or every single morning at full volume to keep it perfect.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24am Passaic River Blues:

The "Wake Up" vinyl is exquisite.
Avatar 10:26am JakeGould:

Harming Cats is not the way, brothers and sisters! We must be Their thumbs, Their right claws, and help Them conquer this planet, for They are the rightful rulers.

Speaking of illusions, I just came across the term 'man-hour' at my job and thought, "Is that still a thing?"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49am Cmurtha:

Thanks for the show, was boss
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49am tim from champaign (now washington):

@Krys - you should tell HR that if you're expected to work a man hour then you need a fainting couch in the powder room.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am ɛɨk:

Yeah, that's ridiculous. Obviously it should be "cat-hour".
  11:51am spodiodi:

Krys O.
see: The Mythical Man-Month (less believers by the day, i hope.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:51am tim from champaign (now washington):

I like Rockabye Gamelan much better than the Rockabye Baby songs Station Manager Ken plays.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am \ⓔⓘⓚ/:

(Not that cats would deign to work silly office jobs, but even so, the hour spent by a cat is the gold standard in temporal mechanics, far more valuable than the hour spent by a human.)
Avatar 11:56am Hubig Pie:

Cat hour is 4am when my kitty is stabbing my chest with his bony ankles
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am tim from champaign (now washington):

Oh wait! Is this the start of gamelan Friday?
Avatar 11:58am Roberto:

My big boi has recently grown fond of the one-claw face jab.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am tim from champaign (now washington):

YES!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am Krys O.:

I second cat-hour, in fact, ANGRY-cat-hour sounds most productive.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am Krys O.:

Thanks, JA!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm tim from champaign (now washington):

Thanks JA!
  12:00pm Danger:
