Hello Rich. Rock on all Sciuridicus inflaticus cadavers...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:06am chresti:

Hello from still vd parts.
  12:06am rich:

good morning mr. pumpy and the rest of you,
here to look at: joshuaflint.com...
  12:07am rich:

hello chresti
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08am Mr. Pumpy:

I'm loving this Pelt. Probably a stringed instrument in the low register, but it's still a real didgeridoozy...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09am Handy Haversack:

We've already cured VD out east, Chresti.

Evening, all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09am Mr. Pumpy:

@chresti...were you there for the vd chat earlier in the week? Funny shit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11am Mr. Pumpy:

@Handy...I came back just in time during Dan's set to see your rationale on the literature and purchasing and all. I dig. Although, I do the same with books. But like you said, here today...gonorrhea!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11am chresti:

Mr. Pumpy, don't think so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13am Handy Haversack:

Exactly, Mr. P.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13am chresti:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13am Mr. Pumpy:

@chresti...I think it was Handy's line! It culminated in, "I have VD on VD on DVD"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17am Handy Haversack:

(Guilty as charged.)

I really like those paintings you linked to, @rich. The work reminds me some of Victoria Crowe, whom I adore. Thanks!
Avatar 12:18am coelacanth∅:

greetings rich & indefatigable squirrely carcassoids
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25am Mr. Pumpy:

@coelacanth∅...I am a bit fatigable, but not in my current situation. I said, "Fuck the police!" and ran out for McNuggets and some orange juice for the voddy. Now I'm in a dark dining room on the computer just waiting for my dad to wake up and get some water in the kitchen. It's like being 20 all over again! Might as well regress while I progress.
Avatar 12:25am coelacanth∅:

oh yes i like these paintings indeed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25am Mr. Pumpy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27am Mr. Pumpy:

@RH...this is great. I never heard this track. Have you ever checked out the collab with Bardo Pond...simply put, LSD Pond? Good stuff...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29am Handy Haversack:

Mr. P, I have never done it in quite the way you are, but, yeah, those moments when you're like, I'm in my twenties again? And dealing with this again? Always a bit of a mindfuck.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30am Handy Haversack:

Fave so far: joshuaflint.com...
  12:31am rich:

mr pumpy no i haven't heard that yet will have to check it out. i imagine it's impossible to hear the flute when you combine the bands.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32am Mr. Pumpy:

@Handy..what put it over the edge is I'm right back where I went to high school. Not the same house, but a coupe of miles from it...so I went for a drive from the past. Yes...mindfuck!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33am Mr. Pumpy:

@Rich...I haven't listened in a bit, but safe to say. I think they make room for it though, if I recall. Great choice in Moyo as well. I love all they've done.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35am Mr. Pumpy:

@Rich...heavy at the 30 min mark...and what sounds like crazy flute breaking through. The whole thing is a trip. I wish it was out on vinyl... www.youtube.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35am Handy Haversack:

Dag, never even heard OF this before. Really good!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am Mr. Pumpy:

@Handy...OSS are intense. A favorite album of mine is In Time. I believe they are from Sweden. They do it right! Loving this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am Mr. Pumpy:

Handy..that painting is nuts. Funny, I just watched the movie 'Adrift' today. That painting would have been a perfect poster for it. Not a bad flick, actually.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42am Handy Haversack:

Nice -- good to know, Mr. P. I got a few solo days coming up. Though apparently now I need to devote some time in them to finding a new (old, cheap) car! But some movie delving is also in the cards.
Avatar 12:42am coelacanth∅:

i've only looked through 2018. i'm still working here and bookmarked it for later
but this one grabbed me joshuaflint.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44am Handy Haversack:

Yeah, @coel. The reds in that one have whole eddas packed into them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44am Mr. Pumpy:

@coelacanth∅...nice. I haven't delved yet. Very cool just seeing those two. It looks like he uses a pallet knife quite a bit. Great style. Fucking depth...like I'm drawn in instantly.
Avatar 12:45am coelacanth∅:

so surreal. and his shadowing is immaculate. (to my uneducated eyes anyway)
i feel like with his work, nothing is blurry that isn't better by being blurry, and nothing is crisp that isn't more powerful that way...etc
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46am Handy Haversack:

Deployed static.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47am Mr. Pumpy:

@coelacanth∅...what you said.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48am Mr. Pumpy:

tuned fuzz...controlled, chaotic colour haze
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53am Mr. Pumpy:

RHP!!!! DAMN...this set is giving me all it's got.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59am chresti:

Flint's work reminds me of some of Gerhard Richter's
  1:00am elwyn:

that's one of my favourite Low songs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08am Mr. Pumpy:

chresti...I can see that. A year or so back I saw a killer exhibit/performance at The Shed in NYC which Richter was part of. It was Richter's art in two visual/performance pieces accompanied by composer Steve Reich and composer Arvo Pärt. It was such amind blower I had to gather more friends and go back before it stopped showing. Very cool. Here's the link...some info and a video. Look around for more video, you won't be sorry. Remind me some day to give you a link as non-flash photography was allowed. I went nuts. theshed.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13am chresti:

Thanks Mr. Pumpy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14am Mr. Pumpy:

no prob...I'm remembering that I used to do things!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14am Mr. Pumpy:

Such great whammy bar work.
Avatar 1:21am mariano:

This Scott Walker is the most unbelievable thing I've ever heard!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23am Mr. Pumpy:

mariano...what hanging?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25am Mr. Pumpy:

Syd on caffeine.
Avatar 1:26am mariano:

Hey Mr. Pumpy, what's up! Just getting back from my aunt's annual Mardi Gras bash above the Absinthe House, was a lot of fun. What's shakin' up north?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27am Mr. Pumpy:

Ahhh...just funkin' around for fun!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33am Mr. Pumpy:

You must be feeling good. I'm at my dad's and I broke out tonight and brought some bourbon into the house and then went to McDonalds because I'm in the neighborhood I grew up in. Getting a little nutty, but he understands I'm putting in the hours and I have to stretch my wings. He doesn't know the particulars, but he does know about the bourbon, which he questioned why I even worried about it. I just feel bad because he can't drink. Anyhow, he came out to the fridge about 20 minutes ago and I'm sitting in the dark dining room with the glow of the computer screen on my face. He ain't asking questions. Taxi Driver comes to mind...but instead of shooting up a tenement building I just need some teenage nuggets and tunes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34am Mr. Pumpy:

Teenage nuggets doesn't have good optics...as the spin morons say. I mean nugs I would have bought in my teens. Ahhhh...fuck it. Great tune right now!!!
Avatar 1:36am mariano:

Haha, don't worry Mr. Pumpy, I won't report you for saying "teenage nuggets". [turns to camera, raises eyebrow] ...or will I?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37am Mr. Pumpy:

Oh...went to McDonalds around midnight...yeah...Eartheating after hours.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38am Mr. Pumpy:

You said it! YOU said (teenage nuggets) [redacted]!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38am Mr. Pumpy:

Teeenage nnnnnnnnnnuggetttsssssssssssssss!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38am Mr. Pumpy:

Anyhow...good party?
Avatar 1:39am Franco Twinkie:

Mr. Pumpy, Isn't it time to be unconscious? It's three hours earlier out here, and I'm about ready to drop. Tomorrow I have to go sign paperwork for my moms new facility, but thank goodness I don't have to show up till 2pm.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43am Mr. Pumpy:

I'm staying up quite late because I'm here at my dad's place now with him, and it's like the land without time the last few days. I should go to bed, but I'm free while he's sleeping, so...you know. I'm heading soon. You can just ask me to go to seep, ya know!
Avatar 1:44am mariano:

Damn, I did say it, didn't I? Yeah, fun party, thanks, lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, family friends. Bit of hanging out on the balcony, tossing beads to folks, there was music, dancing, the works. McDonald's is always a temptation, there's one down the road from me, 24/7 place. Last year I went through a major Quarter Pounder phase, had to cold turkey. But man, I was good and hooked.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44am Mr. Pumpy:

I mean shleep. Yes...I do mean shleep.
Avatar 1:45am mariano:

You on the West Coast, Franco? Well, dumb question, I guess you would be with that time difference.
Avatar 1:46am Franco Twinkie:

Yes indeed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46am Mr. Pumpy:

Beads...nice! Beads and boobs...nothing wrong with that in a free society. Cold turkey off quarter ponders...I hope you didn't get the shakes too bad.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48am Mr. Pumpy:

I just can't stop listening to the tunes..regardless of Mr. Clock and how I'll feel in the morning. I kind of came to the conclusion that I don't care what the old man says, and he's been pretty good. Damn...I've regressed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49am Mr. Pumpy:

I need to move my guitar here..and everything else I own. My computer and a change of undies is about all. Kinda.
Avatar 1:49am coelacanth∅:

hahah! just catching up a little and mariano @1.36 haha!
the visual
and -we are in one big bit of entertainment aren't we!
like the truman show
Avatar 1:50am Franco Twinkie:

I feel lucky that I am not under the powerful sway of cheeseburgers at the moment. But that'll change, I assure you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50am Mr. Pumpy:

Brave New World has a Traffic vibe...with late era Youngbloods and some Spirit. Meanwhile they may have no idea of those acts. Cool shit!
Avatar 1:51am mariano:

Hey coelacanth∅!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52am Mr. Pumpy:

@coelacanth∅ yeah...the raise of the eyebrow...good stuff. /If we compile the threads we can come up with a killer screenplay. I think...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52am Mr. Pumpy:

funny shit
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54am Mr. Pumpy:

@Franco...do not stroke the mane of the cheeseburger dragon...you will not win that battle
Avatar 1:54am coelacanth∅:

...i been doing all kinds of little this's and that's around the house but mostly here in the kitchen
getytin' a bit loopy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55am Mr. Pumpy:

I don't know where Handy went. I'm kind of soused now myself, truth be told.
Avatar 1:56am coelacanth∅:

Avatar 1:58am coelacanth∅:

i had to do what i was about to do but the last i saw he (she?) gave me the impression that maybe there was an art education in the background. just an impression. (pun sorta intended)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59am Mr. Pumpy:

Definite trilogy..perhaps an epic far outlasting that of Fart Wars. Much of which I enjoy...but as a whole...ouch! They got nothing on us!
Avatar 1:59am Franco Twinkie:

I have been invoking cheeseburgers as the platonic ideal for many years.
Avatar 2:00am coelacanth∅:

i wish i could've just relaxed with some whiskey, music and conversation tonight.
lots of crazy for the foreseeable future instead.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02am Mr. Pumpy:

sorry dude. If it helps, I had to sneak my whiskey and relaxing into a dangerous window under the dark of night. Not good.
Avatar 2:04am coelacanth∅:

doesn't help! i wish your situation to be different.
(as i wish for my own)

it will be.
Avatar 2:04am Franco Twinkie:

I'm tipping forward. Good night.
