Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:08pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I skipped chapters I - IX and read tonight's pages, and I did enjoy it.
  6:15pm Jessica:

Bummed this is the first time I've heard this show. I'm looking at older episode playlists and trying to understand the format. Others seemed to be focused on a theme, not a specific book. How did that work?
  6:17pm JakeGould:

@Jessica: This is an good show. Check out the archives when you can to hear about how the “normal” episodes flow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:28pm Stephen O:

Thanks for doing this series Adriene. The book expanded in my mind the moment I finished it like good challenging books with thoughtful endings do.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34pm Stephen O:

@Jessica: This series fits right in with the rest of them. The book is almost like a literary counterpart to Adriene’s style.

Just think of it as a musique concrète series. Dive right in and float around a little

There was no cloud cover on the last day the Challenger went up, it was cold AF (23 F) and clear, I could see the explosion cloud after the fact from Jacksonville....

Swag For Life Member 8:06am Pjshortall2:

This was the coolest thing. I bought the book and followed along with the show. Sebald is freak a la proust but what's wrong with a little freakiness now and then. We're all richer for it. And we're richer for travelling with the blind tourist. Thanks Adrienne!!!
