Hey Cowdogs and DJ... digging this reggae Christmas track... I just posted a ZANY AF “Christmas” song... me singing in front of the store I work at. Check it out & SMASH that like button... or whatever. And happy solstice or whatever you celebrate this time of year to keep from going insane and stepping into the steet and methodically knocking people’s hats off to paraphrase Her Man Mellville

I'm LOL about these recent selections. First, playing Christmas-associated pieces in a Jewish-associated style. Then, transposing a songs about gaiety into a minor key. And finally, in one case, messing with the rhythm of something from a ballet that's meant to be danced to. All together: genius!

So what was the story with the Cypriot stuff? The classic "van broke down"?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm
Rob W:

Hi Listener Robert! Actually my segment with the band from Cyprus, Monsieur Doumani, will air in early 2020 (probably in February) - it's something that's already recorded but I recorded it at WOMEX in Europe and I discovered I'm missing some audio that I need to have uploaded for me. My bad - I should have double-checked before promoting it! But it will definitely air, it's just a matter of when...

Listener Robert:

Thanks, Rob W. I'm enjoying this substitute programming quite well.

Some day you're going to have to explain your old openings, though. Your current one fits the show a lot better; its predecessors I could never figure out.
