Hello BC!
  11:35am NowhereBoy91:

Hey, this is a weird question but is this the First Ever Lost Media Archive show??
Avatar 11:42am Martinibomb:

Why yes it is
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am Jan Turkenburg:

Hi MB, hi Nowhereboy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:44am ARB:

I'm here for the xmas experiments
  11:45am NowhereBoy91:

I am extremely jazzed, to say the least!
Avatar 11:46am BC Sterrett:

Hello everyone, trying to make sure everything is go!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:48am Otis Fodder:

Oddity Rock Rocket landing on planet Earth in.... T-Minus 12 minutes and countin'
  11:51am NowhereBoy91:

Oh hey, Otis! What's good? how are you liking being on Sundays?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am Jan Turkenburg:

I hear BC is doing his pre-flight check :-)
  11:52am NowhereBoy91:

I just finished recording the latest You Can Sample, actually. going to package them both up for my friend who has been trying to use samples in their music more lately.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am Otis Fodder:

Hey hey, enjoying Sunday a lot. Easy on the work schedule for sure.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:54am Otis Fodder:

That's great! I'd love to hear what your friend comes up with, as I'm sure a few other DJs here would as well who like to play sampled stuff. Please ask if your pal will share after with us.
  11:57am NowhereBoy91:

Oh yeah? I will definitely try. They've been in a bit of a musical rut lately and I think some of the samples are just so excellent, that they're bound to be inspired somehow.
Avatar 12:00pm Martinibomb:

Lost Media will be a little late.. working to resolve
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm ARB:

Yes! This must be it!
Avatar 12:17pm Mr Fab:

Off we go!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm Otis Fodder:

We are live!
Avatar 12:17pm BC Sterrett:

Flying without a Mic. Going live without the prerecord
Avatar 12:18pm Martinibomb:

I am relooping you from the TEST stream BC you frogot to logoff that and connec to the main streamm.. but hey it's all working Keep going don't touch a thing!
Avatar 12:22pm BC Sterrett:

At least it's something. Still working?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:23pm Otis Fodder:

Working. Hearing One of One, great CD!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm Jan Turkenburg:

For a second I thought this was BC talking :-)
Avatar 12:26pm Mr Fab:

Ah ha, the ZE Christmas Record - heard the last seconds of The Waitresses, now Suicide.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm Otis Fodder:

Now, this is my kinda xmas musick. Move over having a wonderful xmas time.
Avatar 12:29pm Mr Fab:

This show is the perfect soundtrack to look at pics of an old Santa's Village attraction:
matterhorn1959.blogspot.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm ARB:

gobbledygook
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm Jan Turkenburg:

In the right rendition 'having a wonderfull' is ok though. I just finished a local radio show where a schlager singer sang that live and with my joining in half-tonally on flute. ah... you must have been there ;)
Avatar 12:33pm Mr Fab:

Now THAT sounds wonderful indeed!
Avatar 12:34pm Martinibomb:

I'm going to write about routing audio for our new DJ guide @Mr Fab that is the hardest thing to explain..
Avatar 12:35pm Martinibomb:

animated explainer video maybe? then I could show the issue easier
Avatar 12:36pm Mr Fab:

That would be great, whatever you think you can do. Thunderous round of applause for Martinibomb, showing the ropes to our rookie DJ!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm ARB:

yes @martinibomb I'm clapping for you so hard i feel like a trained seal
Avatar 12:39pm WR:

Hi. Listening along. Is there a playlist entry missing after Ghost of the Turkey before this dictation letter to xmas thingy?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm Otis Fodder:

Jan - Missed that show, but that is one of the xmas songs I run for cover with. Maybe with flute or an industrial sander, it might improve to my ears.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm ARB:

Simply Having is the one that tips me over the edge
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm ARB:

but I just haven't heard an adequate rendition yet...
Avatar 12:42pm Mr Fab:

WR: probably. But this is BC's first show here, he's still learning the system, so don't know if he'll be able to go back and update it til later.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm Otis Fodder:

Here too. Maybe if Wesley Willis covered it or The Shaggs, that would work!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm ARB:

ooooh this one! this is doing it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm ARB:

@otis Wesley would do it right
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm Otis Fodder:

... and at the end there could be a plug for a few Sheena Shows. Wesley would have rocked it!
Avatar 12:45pm Martinibomb:

Suck a caribou's ass!
Avatar 12:46pm Martinibomb:

Nobody ever has any wesley willis in their karaoke collection
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm ARB:

hahaha
Avatar 12:46pm Martinibomb:

And his music sound the most like karaoke music.. crying shame
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm Otis Fodder:

I wish there was a Wesley Willis Karaoke MACHINE!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm ARB:

that's not true! the one online date i ever went on was at a karaoke bar and the guy did wesley willis
Avatar 12:47pm Mr Fab:

just put on any karaoke track, and start shouting out Wesley-isms.
Avatar 12:47pm BC Sterrett:

You have Otis to thank for Craft Ladies
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm Otis Fodder:

I plead the 5th day of Christmas
Avatar 12:48pm Mr Fab:

hey BC!! I have this Crafty Ladies record, actually.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49pm Otis Fodder:

You do Mr Fab! On Vinyl. That rocks!
Avatar 12:51pm Mr Fab:

Yep, found it at Amoeba years ago. Posted it on my old blog, where I wrote: "it doesn't get much better than this 11 minute, 7 song 7" recorded by the participants in the arts program of the San Francisco Recreation Center for the Handicapped. The musical backing seems pretty professionally played, in contrast to the vocals of the handicapped folks. It kicks off with a version of "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer" scored for xylophone and
sad horn - very evocative combination. "
Avatar 12:51pm Martinibomb:

@Arb what song did he do?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm ARB:

Rock and Roll McDonalds
i was horrified, seems like it could be good in theory but i guess only wesley should do wesley willis songs
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm ARB:

maybe the space lady could pull it off
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm ARB:

can we ask her?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm Jan Turkenburg:

Otis en ARB, yes the singer in question threw me completely off guard, or how do you say that, when he started singing that at the end of the show, after I asked him: can you just sing one more Christmas song that everybody knows... LOL
Avatar 12:55pm Mr Fab:

That's pretty brave on a date. Unless you'd been together for a while at that point and he thought he could finally start getting a little freaky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm ARB:

Yeah points for courage at least, but I never saw him again
Avatar 12:57pm BC Sterrett:

Ok, hour is about up. Talk about baptism by fire, flying by the seat of my pants last minute when things wouldn't work. Wasn't the actual show I prepared, but it was something :)
Avatar 12:58pm Mr Fab:

It was great! Leave 'em wanting more, right? You're even adding pics to the playlist, very ambitious for a first show.
Avatar 12:59pm Martinibomb:

okay gonna stop in a min
12:59pm Dave In St Albans UK:

Love this show. More please!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm Otis Fodder:
