Avatar 8:30pm Bethany Ryker:

Hi All, glad you are out there! Hope you are staying warm....how is it where you are?
Avatar 8:33pm TDK60:

Bethany, here it's dark, iced trees, raining, /cold/, chill-to-the-bone kind of night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Was just thinking of analogy of going from four track to eight track recording... not a great comparison ...enables doubling tones within same range - & fugueing (if a word)
...or size of Jazz ensemble... 'Yesterday' was Quartet - 'Eleanor Rigby' double...
  8:35pm Peter from Dover NJ:

Occasionally lurking on this program. It's great. Keep it up.
  8:37pm johnzo:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I hear drum samples now & think get a drummer lazy buggers - but it's always hook or crook... Bill Evans Jazz piano - & Hendrix - examples of people really Composing in multitrack I think...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm Ken From Hyde Park:

It's Quatuorphonic!
Avatar 8:47pm TDK60:

DJ B> requests taken?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Great pieces well performed curated on a theme.
We so lucky.
  8:53pm Ian uk:

polytonality ....a Lithuanian form of sutartines...Stravinskys Rite of Spring...Mozart 1787 was delving...Michaud really dug it...Ives was an insurance agent during the day...and making music at night...you conduct a beautiful hour...
Avatar 8:53pm Bethany Ryker:

  8:54pm Dean:

Was thinking today of Milhaud after playing a recording of Poulenc solo piano pieces that reminded me of La cheminée du roi René.
Avatar 8:58pm TDK60:
