Was just thinking of analogy of going from four track to eight track recording... not a great comparison ...enables doubling tones within same range - & fugueing (if a word)
...or size of Jazz ensemble... 'Yesterday' was Quartet - 'Eleanor Rigby' double...

polytonality ....a Lithuanian form of sutartines...Stravinskys Rite of Spring...Mozart 1787 was delving...Michaud really dug it...Ives was an insurance agent during the day...and making music at night...you conduct a beautiful hour...
