Kris! Oldsmobile introduced the Toranodo in 1966 I think. If I remember correctly, I was a lumbering beast that was a cross between a Buick Riviera and Pontiac LeMans. Neither fish nor foul, it was a clunker that no one bought, and was quickly forgotten.
