	10:14pm Chris Farrell: I’ve noticed I make a lot of 2000-2010 references and fellow students who are Gen Z often don’t pick up on them. I asked a older student (maybe 45) if Flock of Seagulls sang I ran after a 2 hour lecture where very few comments were made. He pointed out they might have been considered a 1 hit wonder but their hair will forever be remembered. It dwarfed my initial reference to the song “I Ran”.
	10:15pm Dean: Just two days ago I ran into a friend of mine with his, I dunno, 15YO? son. I was wearing a WFMU t-shirt. The conversation turned to WFMU, and the kid asked about the station. He seemed mighty interested, so I directed him to the playlists. Generation, schmeneration.

I’m sure my brother would kill for a warm up act at a mid size county fair (other starting musicians as well) Billy Strings is playing (or played) at the caverns in Tennessee where Silver Jews had their last show. Something I saw recently.

I remember the classmate who advised listening to Birds of Fire in 1974, when I was a little dork in high school, when the rest of us were listening to...hey!...Three Dog Night.

I also have no sense that Weymouth has much talent. One of the reasons My Life strikes me is precisely his absence. I suspect I would love LSD. More so, opium and heroin.

He gives shout-outs to Eno and...David Byrne! I admire Townsend, but I don't get the attraction to Byrne, not at all. No, I'm not a fan of Eno, certainly not a fan of Byrne.

I also have no sense that Weymouth has much talent. One of the reasons My Life strikes me is precisely his absence. I suspect I would love LSD. More so, opium and heroin.
