Hello David and all
Avatar 3:15pm david w:

Good to see you, fred. A day of words!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm Webhamster Henry:

Nice to hear Steve's voice!
Avatar 3:18pm fred:

Yeah, plenty of shows these days. December looks quieter, and a big transit strike will not help
Avatar 3:21pm david w:

Same here, fred. Busy busy, then quiet quiet. No strikes but crazy weather to mess with us.
Avatar 3:23pm fred:

Speaking of Cecil Taylor, I was supposed to see him perform with Amiri Baraka years ago. But they had an argument before the show (a loud one, I've been told) and they performed separately
Avatar 3:32pm david w:

fred, this sounds like a scenario I can believe. And Henry, was a little hesitant before hearing Dalachinsky (and Giorno) because it is so fresh and I knew them both. But then I smiled.
Avatar 3:39pm Wolfgang:

Hello Ridgewood Radio Rascals - Stork here, prepping a fill-in program for Kenzo, coming up at 5 pm EST. I can't do the live mix thing like Ken does (who can?) - but I can pledge to you two hours of German language music, and nothing but the German language music. Hope you can horn in on the action. Great to hear Shelly Hirsch!!
  3:39pm yippie:

Shelley is the best
Avatar 3:40pm david w:

Stork today after us! One of the Drummer holiday treats!
Avatar 3:41pm david w:

  4:21pm heinseng:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm ParUbi:

I love Joan La Barbara! This is also nice. Will check out that episode, @Webhamster

"What is this you call property? It cannot be the earth, for the land is our mother, nourishing all her children, beasts, birds, fish and all men. The woods, the streams, everything on it belongs to everybody and is for the use of all. How can one man say it belongs only to him?" Chief Massasoit, of the Wampanoags
Avatar 4:34pm david w:

Thanks, geez. Good one for any day, and really good for this one.

I think we know of whom fred speaks, the baby in chief.
Avatar 4:44pm geezerette:

Fred, excellent! :)
David, he who shall be nameless.
We're still gonna stuff ourselves, reasons have changed, recipes haven't. :D
Avatar 4:44pm northguineahills:

I once was a sound installation opening my band played at, and while in line for the bathroom, I was talking shit about Lee Renaldo to my friend, and then I looked behind me was Lee and his sons (whoops)( I didn't say anything negative but it could be construed as such out of context).
Avatar 4:47pm david w:

Well, this recording will either fuel your enmity or give you pause.
Avatar 4:47pm northguineahills:

I look forward tomorrow, where all of my family and their associated friends support el pinche de naranja. But they usually refrain from mentioning stuff around me, b/c my words are supported by citstions based on fact.
Avatar 4:49pm northguineahills:

Thanks david. ( I actually like Drifting....)
Avatar 4:49pm fred:

One of the reasons I missed this show in the past weeks was seeing Glacial (Lee Ranaldo / Tony Buck / David Watson). A good show, not a great one: Buck was often drowned out. But maybe I was too focused on Watson, he is so rare around here (and I'm partial to bagpipes, at least his take on this instrument)
Avatar 4:50pm david w:

Everybody chill for 24 hours, we have to get through this and then work together when its over.
Avatar 4:51pm david w:

Thanks, fred. Some bits of that show were posted so I was curious, it looked semi-messy.
Avatar 4:54pm geezerette:

Thanks again, David, Ruth, and assembled.
Avatar 4:55pm david w:

Hey geez and all, thank you and go enjoy the days off, I hope!
Avatar 4:56pm fred:

Thanks David!
Avatar 4:56pm david w:

Dada finishes us off.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:57pm ParUbi:

Really good material! Lots to explore with a repeat listen. Thanks, David and everyone.
