I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Bryce's Blended Marbles mall kiosk now open for business
Avatar 12:12pm Hubig Pie:

Bryce on the air
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm Bryce:

where am i?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm tim from champaign (now washington):

Bryce - it's cool. I'll call your mom and she can come pick you up. It's happened to the best of us.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm Ken From Hyde Park:

When I have my IPO, I'll have to decide if I'll use stock ticker MRBL or BLND. Hope they're not already taken.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm Bryce:

but i can't find my body
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm George of Troy:

Howdy, Bryce!
  12:17pm karen eliot:

hi

Bryce - it's always at the last place you look.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm Krys O.:

Bryce ain't got no body. (sing it, people!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm steveo:

goodafternooniamgladtobelistening
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm steveo:

(no body!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm SSS:

I am watching the impeachment hearings while listening to the WFMU stream. Very well chosen as background music for this horror show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30pm steveo:

string instruments are always very discordant in winter
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm Bryce:

nunes must be talking
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I wonder how much of a tax break one gets for having no body.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm ParUbi:

radiators will hiss and whistle in the winter too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm steveo:

my dear spouse said had been listening to classical and I thought, oh good, and immediately imagined something like this piece but when she turned it back on is was vivaldi or something
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm steveo:

(uh, get me rewrite?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm Carmichael:

Heavenly shades of night are falling,
It's blending time ....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm ParUbi:

bodilessness is quite blessed, as the bodies will malfunction. But you need them to interact with .... well, things.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm sphere:

hello folks, what did i miss?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49pm ParUbi:

Marbles do blend
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm Bryce:

those blendtec videos are just a gateway tho

www.ssiworld.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm ParUbi:

Um, Bryce can't find his body. Things hiss in the winter and strings become discordant. The political fiasco mixes well with discordant strings.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm Bryce:

youtu.be...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm tim from champaign (now washington):

Bryce and the Antique Phonograph show should get together and play marbles in a hand cranked coffee grinder.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm sphere:

Bryce ought to get GPS for his body.
Avatar 12:59pm Mitten John:

Hey Bryce, did you leave your body in the mirror?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm Phillippe Bastille:

Likin' the SSI stuff. So calming in these turbulent times
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Uber Bodies®
  1:15pm Venusvaness:

Can you please clarify what the last track was around 1:05pm? I caught just the end...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15pm tim from champaign (now washington):

I'm digging this Swirnoff. Thanks for playing a number of tracks, Bryce.
  1:18pm mic_mute:

Yes, really enjoyed that non-average usage of electric guitar. And just in case I'm unconscious later (sleep deprivation catching up on me fast), Thanks again, Bryce!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm sphere:

@ Venusvaness - Possibly the end of Maariv 3? If you really want to know, wait until this show is posted to the archives, The app displays the time you're at in relationship to the beginning and the ending of the show.
  1:22pm Venusvaness:

Thank you! It was right before Maariv. Could it have been the opener?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23pm Bryce:

hi, v! yeah, if it was the tinkly gamelan-like thing, that was maariv 3. the dense organ stuff was 2.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23pm tim from champaign (now washington):

@John - thanks! I think I chose Captain Lou as my profile pic because I signed up for my playlist account around the time Capt Lou passed. I haven't watched wrestling in years but I was a pretty huge fan from late 70s - late 90s.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27pm Bryce:

these are sawed-off aluminum baseball bats, btw. pvr would have them hanging around a space and set up standing waves and other acoustic trippiness you can't really get from a recording
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm steveo:

wow, love it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm tim from champaign (now washington):

Thanks for the visual, Bryce! I was imagining hammered electric stringed instruments.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34pm tim from champaign (now washington):

@John - excellent! The first match I remember seeing was Dick the Bruiser vs King Kong Brody around 78 or 79. I still remember the amazement of seeing wrestling on TV for the first time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35pm sphere:

I saw the event where Bob Backlund's reign was ended when got ambushed while doing pushups.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35pm sphere:

on TV, that is.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36pm Bryce:

rhizome.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38pm tim from champaign (now washington):

@sphere - wow! I remember the Iron Sheik becoming champ but I don't think I saw the match. Then along came Hogan. Hulk-a-Mania was definitely not running wild for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm sphere:

@ Tim - I actually saw Blackjack Mulligan bodyslam Andre the Giant at the Capital Centre in Maryland.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm tim from champaign (now washington):

@John - I'd catch WWF and Georgia Championship Wrestling on cable.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46pm tim from champaign (now washington):

@sphere - wow! @john - Gordon Solie was the king of announcers.
  1:50pm Mark Williams:

Bryce - I see this was a cassette, as were many of his releases. It seems none are available anywhere. I'm quite taken with this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Bryce:

me too, mark! so glad he sent fmu some of his stuff. i actually ripped those CDRs (since all CDRs have a lifespan), thank god.

but yeah, always wished his stuff would see a proper re-ish somehow. really special.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01pm Bryce:

this joe jones recording is a collection of solar-powered automatons
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm sphere:

Evidently there is some Joe Jones up on YouTube.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm Phillippe Bastille:

I am enjoying this Garden Party. Bryce, did you bring enough cucumber sandwiches for all of us?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm Bryce:

just carrot cake
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm Bryce:

wait, where did it go?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm Phillippe Bastille:

Hey sphere, I mentioned last week that I was going to see Crack the Sky. They were pretty damn good. No one can really sing anymore but they were incredibly tight. I had forgotten what a great guitarist Rick Witkowski is. Also forgot how inconvenienced/barely tolerant Palumbo looks and acts
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Phillippe Bastille:

@Bryce I baked a carrot cake this past week for my son's birthday cake. I kept screwing it up. 5 hours to finish a carrot cake. Yeeesh...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15pm sphere:

Nice!. I don't think Crack The Sky was ever about singing anyways.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm Phillippe Bastille:

True that. My bride had never seen them before and her reaction to Witkowski was akin to a stunned "Holy shit!" Talked about him for days to whomever would listen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:21pm Krys O.:

I used to have a wrestling event poster that was signed by Pedro Morales.
Avatar 2:21pm Hubig Pie:

I have made 7 hour leg of lamb but never
5 hour carrot cake
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:24pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I brought a batch of carrot cake cupcakes to a Mark Hurst movie event at Monty Hall. Matt Warwick had a couple.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm blee:

Jed Speare's track Sleep Tight is rather tongue and cheek isn't it?
  2:31pm davefromtoronto:

loving the show. great to paint to...
  2:31pm Mark Williams:

@blee - pipe down, would ya? Trying to nap...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm tim from champaign (now washington):

@Krys - Pedro Morales is a deep cut. Nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm steveo:

i heard it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm Phillippe Bastille:

Factors that go into a 5 hour carrot cake:
1. Using tablespoon measurements instead of teaspoons because the font on the iPad is too small and thus having to start over again.
2. Using slightly too large cake pans without adjusting the bake time for a thinner cake and thus having to start over again
3. Using slightly too large cake pans and realizing your cake has no height and having to bake more layers
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm steveo:

@blee kind of like that freddie kruger "sweet dreams" poster
  2:38pm John from florham park:

Phillippe sounds goid
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm sphere:

thanks mr. bryce
  2:54pm karen eliot:

i remember my first carrot cake. a weapon. like a brick. still not much of a baker. much admiration for those who can. lovely show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm tim from champaign (now washington):

Thanks for the super duper sounds today, Bryce!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm mariano:

Your show is always like being inside a giant Buddha machine, so lovely - thanks Bryce!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Krys O.:

Tanx!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Bryce. You're the embodiment of a good DJ!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Bryce:

thanks, you guys!!!!! xo
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:31pm Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

Another absolutely great show. The Peter Van Ripper stuff particularly amazing. Thanks, Bryce! Next round of marbles on us!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm bit rot:

I've never heard anything quite like that lead off Adam Bohman piece.
