  10:07pm CC:

Sandy's voice is really soothing after such a ridiculous game show!!!...hehehe...
  10:08pm RCU-Keith:

Evenin! Damn, Fairport transitioning into Trees...now that’s the sound of autumn right there. Nicely chosen.
  10:10pm CC:

Yeah... Celia's voice sounds good too!!!
  10:14pm jnolan:

Greetings once again from Los Angeles, Jeff! Just wanted drop a quick note to say thanks for recommending Pacific Range. Saw them live a week ago today when they opened for Circles Around the Sun. Fantastic show! If you know of any other people playing within a reasonable (~8 hour) drive of LA, please share.

Oh and PS will be donating to WFMU tonight. Gotta do it!
Avatar 10:15pm Jeff Conklin:

@jnolan: Ah right on. Love that band. Hoping they come out this way soon!
  10:18pm Lara:

Wow I'm on the west coast so I can finally listen live. Greetings from Joshua Tree, I was getting tired of my desert playlists so this isles folk is most welcome.
  10:18pm RCU-Keith:

Avatar 10:18pm TDK60:

Great Steeleye Span tune and album.
Avatar 10:19pm Jeff Conklin:

@Lara: Right on, Lara, one of the show's biggest supporters lives in Joshua Tree
Avatar 10:19pm Jeff Conklin:

Always thought Steeleye Span should have covered Venus in furs....
  10:20pm CC:

Great start to your Show Jeff!!!... Seasons Greetings to all!!
  10:23pm Chris Wardell:

Avatar 11:03pm RobinSays:

First time tuning in to your show, Jeff. I really enjoyed it:)
Avatar 11:11pm Ignatatus666:

@Jeff the minimum donation is 10.00 the system rejects anything under 10.00 and flashes the screen to donte at least 10.00
Not sure why as that’s seriously not cool
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12pm WR:

The Unthanks on your radar for current/recentist Brit performers working out of the traditions?
Avatar 11:12pm Jeff Conklin:

@WR: No! Where should I start?
  11:20pm CC:

When you can close your eyes and something sounds good regardless of whether or not you know who it is or where it came from that's the magic!!!
  11:22pm Jeff Conklin:

@ignatus: probably because processing makes anything less than 10 not worth it? Sorry.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Nic Jones is new to me. Reminds me of Ian Anderson's voice.
Avatar 11:25pm Jeff Conklin:

This Martin Carthy has perhaps my favorite singing of any british folk record ever
Avatar 11:27pm Hams:

jeff, thinking about catching the garcia peoples show halloween night. never seen'm before. only have heard them here.
Avatar 11:28pm Jeff Conklin:

@Hams: Good move. Very very good move.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30pm WR:

Jeff, hard for me to pick between their first two, both I found searingly lovely.
Avatar 11:30pm Hams:

yeah, looking forward to it.
  11:33pm CC:

Poetry in Motion!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33pm WR:

I remember when the Shearwater Cathy album came out but I didn't listen closely. Looks and sounds like well worth revisiting.
Avatar 11:34pm Jeff Conklin:

That track is by far the highlight and worth picking it up. its an insane story, song is over 350 years old. Love it
  11:39pm CC:

In song swells there a rhythm telling out it's counted time... dwelling ever on it's cadence ringing out its rhythmic rhyme... so sweet... a heartbeat so divine...etc...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:45pm WR:

Just looking at The Unthanks website for the first time in about a year. They've got links to a selection they've put into sound cloud. www.the-unthanks.com
