Vocal fry is listenable if you autotune it, and then turn the volume to zero.

This station has made me give up commercial rock radii stations because if the same crap they play day after day, even though I don’t have any money to give I spread the gospel of WFMU to the unwashed masses

I remember seeing a clip from the William F. Buckley show where Jack Kerouac was there and started singing Flat Footed Floogie, I don't remember why but I didn't know it was a real song, it just seemed like he'd lost his marbles and was singing jibberish.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:23pm
dale:

really mcginniwa? bolton's landing technically. the yund family owned it and worked it (9 kids!) and it was just too old fashioned in the 80s and just closed.

mcginniwa:

@dale, could have been either late 70's or early 80's. Family's camp was on Lake George. They actually just sold it after 80 something years. Used to go to the camp for a few weeks every summer from `72. Usually had at least one trip to town for the amusements, etc.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm
mcginniwa:

@dale nice - I must admit that most of Lake George attraction memories are kind of hard to determine where it was in my old man brain mush, but shit the name "Time Town" sticks with you.

  7:36pm
yippie:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm
