Ella hope you're enjoying the show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm heyitschris:

Excited to tune in and see you're back! As always, enjoying your set.
Avatar 12:46pm βrian:

Listen liberally, I say.
Avatar 12:47pm northguineahills:

graham coxon also has his lower-case improv/electro-acoustic output as well. Haven't heard any of his post-blur pop output (that I can remember).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49pm SSS:

I always say that it is a survival skill to learn to not really care about our own opinions at least some of the time.
  12:50pm Robin:

Your show is just what I needed in my life
Avatar 12:53pm northguineahills:

@SSS: It's why when WFMU djs ask for request, I remain mute. If I wanted to hear what I already like, I'd just play music I know and I already like, rather then listen to WFMU.
Avatar 12:55pm Pseu Braun:

northguineahills, yeah you have heard it -- today and in past shows. I play him alot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm Vanessa bikes:

oh boy, this is the first I have heard of the promised Police covers by juliana hatfield, so neato!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm SSS:

Yes YES! So nice to have a pro do it, and I learn so much more about music, both old and new.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm Phillippe Bastille:

@ngh truth there, brutha
Avatar 1:02pm JakeGould:

The Police should re-release their whole catalog with no vocals. Just pure instrumentals.
  1:08pm Mike tp:

bod yeah
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12pm Carmichael:

Heya Pseu and music adorers. The Rubinoos didn't sing the Lee Hazlewood Phaedra, did they?
Avatar 1:15pm Pseu Braun:

"Phaedra" is not the name of a Lee Hazlewood song. "Some Velvet Morning" is what you're trying to think of
  1:19pm prudy:

Phaedra is the name of Lee Hazlewood's granddaughter...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27pm Carmichael:

Yes, that's what I meant. Just like the Who song "Teenage Wasteland".
Swag For Life Member 1:30pm PNX:

Was anyone else listening to that Dent May track on headphones?
Avatar 1:32pm Pseu Braun:

pnx i don't think anyone's listening at all, if you ask me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35pm SSS:

Hey HEY!! I never said to the point of self doubt!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38pm SSS:

I myself know some trans sisters
Avatar 1:44pm Roberto:

I can relate to that, Pseu!
Avatar 1:44pm Roberto:

Have you tried the pill "syringe?"
Avatar 1:45pm Roberto:

All righty then.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46pm Doug in JC:

Pill syringes are the best for cats that for some reason won't eat pill pockets
  1:46pm prudy:

Pseu, my sympathies...my cat has gotten used to having my hand shoved down his throat. I just force the pill down, because nothing else has worked. Glad you are happy with Friskies gravy...

we kept the gatefolds and just got rid of the seeds
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm The Oscar:

Been working, but I feel the pain of cat pilling (and kitty UTIs). So glad my Pyewackett's dumb enough to just eat the pill when I mix it into her food.
  1:51pm Tom in Cotati:

Pseu, the trick is to crush the pills into powder (use two spoons) and mix them into a spoonful of canned food. I have to do this for my cat every day and she never refuses it.

I tried the pill syringe and she hated it - jamming something half the length of her tail down her throat.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52pm Krys O.:

My kitties do well with Purina Pro Plan UT wet food and Hill's Urinary/Hairball kibble. I also give them Cosequin which has been shown to fortify bladder linings. :)

Also, fuck the police
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm SSS:

I had a cat some time back that I would put a pill on the floor, sit with him, point to it (theatrically) while saying Lester! eat the pill boy! Come on, eat it! He would try and often, do it. He was less resistant cause I started this way when I did have to help him get it in there.
  1:53pm prudy:

Enuf with Julianna Hatfield. guess she's found her schtick with albums of covers...
  1:55pm Jim:

Pill Pockets have been my sporadic friend (if I didn't miss you saying you'd tried them). I've also had luck with the crushed-into-wet food option when mine has learned the trick of licking the pocket off the pill. Mostly I just pray whatever's prescribed has a liquid option.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55pm Mike Sin:

Nice! So great to hear Pseu back on the air -- it'll be a nice Fall because I hope to work remotely a bit more on Thursdays and tune in live.

re: The Police -- definitely one of those bands that placed downright awesome tracks on the b-sides of their singles! I swear by those first three LPs, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55pm Beast of Boonton:

Fancy Feast cat food will change your cat forever.
People food will be its preferred food after that.
Watch your plate!

Kevin KLine?
  1:56pm Ike:

My condolences re: pilling a cat, which is a gigantic PITA in my experience. My late lamented Zero-G, the Amazing Zero-Gravity Cat, was an expert at spitting out pills, even a minute or two later after I thought enough time had passed to be sure it had been swallowed.

I've never heard of "pill" as a verb, except related to fabric.
Avatar 2:10pm Pseu Braun:

Cmurtha love it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10pm Mike Sin:

@SSS -- Yes! For clarity, it was voice transmission on a light ray, not actual pictures, though! About 10 steps back from fiber-optics, but still on the same road!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:42pm queems:

if we are still talking about cat antibiotics, i've had good luck with the antibiotic injection convenia. one injection works for 2 weeks, and your vet can do it or you can do it at home

Hahaha, love it. Seeing her Madgesty tonight.

The Paranoyds from LA
  2:45pm gkahn:

Can you please play this again at 78? I think that's the speed she intended.
  2:46pm Sam:

Haven't heard that Madonna since my ex-girlfriend put it on a mix tape for me in high school.
Avatar 2:46pm Pseu Braun:

I think it should be at 16rpm personally
Avatar 2:46pm Pseu Braun:

So embarrassed. FABIO WALKED IN
Avatar 2:48pm Pseu Braun:

I assured him it was film music (At Close Range w/S. Penn and C. Glover) and he said it was OK in that case..
  2:48pm gkahn:

I thought that was 16rpm I briefly fell into a coma
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm Cmurtha:

Thank you for the show!
Avatar 2:53pm Pseu Braun:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm Bill in W.O.:

Avatar 3:48pm Bob from Millburn:

Thanks, Pseu.
  10:22pm Granch:

Ok, maybe I missed a comment here but I think you can get the antibiotics, at least some of them, in liquid form, then you squirt it down that kitty's throat or mix it with the cat crack of cheap cat food...liver?
