Last month I got 20 Jandek records, and I'm seriously considering doing that again. And I saw him live this year and loved that set. I saw him dancing during another band's set, instead of hiding backstage. I really appreciate that, few musicians show up and support others that way
Avatar 3:09pm
Otis Fodder:

It's been about 20 years since I gave a sit-down listen to Jandek. I should try again. Fred, what album would you suggest for trepid souls?
Avatar 3:14pm

...and I really love to hear the human/laid-back dancing story. I like that a whole lot too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm

I like "I Threw You Away" a lot, but with that guy I don't think suggestions really work. Also I have barely made a dent in that recent haul

Most definitely will return. My wife and two teenage son's have all said that we will go visit again. Probably when we travel Laos and Vietnam late next year. Yes. I may have to buy it. I was referring to this whacked out would-be novelty record that 'Dick' plays. A track called Balderdash. A WFMU bumper sticker (that I put n a magnet) vanished from my car last year. But they left my KXLU sticker.

Kat in Chicago:

fred, you won. I count 12 clean, 3-4 in the wash, one in the sewing pile because I want to alter it, 2-3 that I've "outgrown", one that got washed with a lipstick in my pants pocket and isn't really wearable. Plus one sweatshirt and three hoodies.

if anyone is looking for a sound-collage project: take Sandor's voice from the "Sexual Pleasures" record and mix it with his dialogue from a Juson Fountain 'drammer.'

Dave In St Albans UK:

The swag for Life T shirts are very desirable to have BUT I have decided to donate all of my future monthly payments to WFMU 100% without the goodies. Posting last Springs swag to the UK cost far too much of my donations.

Fab - Totally. That Moe Koffman album has killer groovy shindig sounds and adopts many hits within.
