good evening, WWZ (Wonderful World of Zoe). excited for another installment!
Avatar 12:05am
Bic Lighter:

Omg, Zoe found you! You create a very unusual and intimate sonic environment. You must prepare a lot
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09am

Ahoy, ragazzi. There is a nice witchy moon outside, here.
  12:10am
greatbarrington:

"can't come out tonight / my bic lighter won't light." hey dici, oo-ooh witchy moon, see how high she flies!

greatbarrington:

looks like we stick to this slot for the fall pschedule. i'm psyched! (and Avant Ghetto is back too, completing the circle)
Avatar 12:23am
Bic Lighter:

It's a strange moon for sure. New Moon?
Avatar 12:24am
Bic Lighter:

I imagine the studio with dimmed lights, candles etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24am
diciassette:

I'm not an expert on moons, but I feel like it's pretty canonical
Avatar 12:25am
Zoe B:

feeling the strange moon energy. my scope said today's moon transit is asking me to be open to new opportunities. i'll apply that to all of us. hi everyone~!
Avatar 12:25am
Bic Lighter:

The new moon is a time to be cautious.
Avatar 12:26am
Bic Lighter:

Hi Zoe!
  12:28am
BH:

I picked up an FM station from 200+ miles away in my car for a few minutes around noon.. so hopefully that's a good energy and not just random weirdness. The station was playing a cover of "Zombie" that I didn't care for before it faded away.
  12:30am
greatbarrington:

i was explaining astrology to my friend's 14-yo the other day. he was like, "huh? did you just make that up?" in all the sweet skeptical ways that i remember from being 14. but the new generation coming up seems to know nothing of it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am
diciassette:

Stevie Nicks: so wise
Avatar 12:34am
Bic Lighter:

I don't know about astrology but I know the moon is a powerful influence. It's not made up.
  12:36am
greatbarrington:

my friend works the psych ward at Bellevue, says full moon is always legit the busiest day
Avatar 12:39am
Bic Lighter:

Barrington. I know this happens. I'm very scientific but I do believe the moon is doing something these last couple of days in my life. Big changes.
  12:39am
dmz:

i think this is an old english song.....
  12:42am
greatbarrington:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45am

On my block there is a street that runs sharply uphill, and when the moon is full and low it hovers just above the asphalt and looks like a death star
Avatar 12:46am
Bic Lighter:

I think the moon and later fire is the original television.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47am
diciassette:

ay!
  12:48am
greatbarrington:

yes i was thinking fall too. hmm.
  12:49am
greatbarrington:

death star moon hovering above steamy summer asphalt, i like that image
Avatar 12:50am
Bic Lighter:

YES. Fall. I can smell it, the earth is different, the light has a different quality. The air cooler, when the sun warm.
  12:52am
greatbarrington:

suddenly there is nothing but the shapes between leaves
Avatar 12:53am
Bic Lighter:

that is poetry
Avatar 12:57am
Bic Lighter:

It's interesting. Humanity has created a realm where we can interact as pure spirits without bodies. We have invented telepathy.
  12:57am
greatbarrington:

there will be never be anything more sincere than the growling tenor sax solo
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58am

Telepathy, now more than ever!

I guess Carnac the Magnificent had it. Possibly Alex Trebek
Avatar 1:02am

Carnnac had better writers.
  1:12am
Johnzon:

hey zoe... errybuddy...
Avatar 1:12am
Bic Lighter:

I think this show is the very essence of freeform. Pure WFMU. So eclectic. Nothing predictable. Always a new sensation.
  1:12am
greatbarrington:

OK, I'm telepathing lyrics from Ummagumma. anyone catching them?
  1:14am
Johnzon:

i just made dinner... had a Vernor's earlier...
Avatar 1:14am
Bic Lighter:

Yeah, got those lyrics. Is this the singularity or am I just high?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Good morning, Zoe and Zoebeans!

Brandon from rock island:

This place gives me hope, I love you all
Avatar 1:21am
Bic Lighter:

Morning Ken! Do you remember your dreams?
  1:21am
greatbarrington:

Dinner and Vernor's sounds like a lyric from "Seamus" but i think that's on Meddle ... I'm going with H20 tonight, i have a little black tea left but i dare not drink that now ... Here's to no dreams and vivid dreams!
Avatar 1:21am
Bic Lighter:

Thank you Brandon. I am full of hope too.
Avatar 1:23am

I always have that dream where I'm back in school but as I am now.

I like to lucid dream every now and then. but it messes with sleep patterns
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25am
Taker:

Im back in my apartment the first night since I left due to bites. Its either fleas or bedbugs. I do remember a more vivid than usual dream during the first bite wave

I don't want bed bugs in my home but maybe there should be dream hotels with bedbugs perhaps one could get the same effect wearing some sort of protective suit like the latex people
Avatar 1:26am
Bic Lighter:

Lucid dreams are like binge watching tv for me.
  1:27am
Brandon from rock island:

That’s funny Bic, I recently decided to go back school. After like 9 years.
Avatar 1:28am
Bic Lighter:

Brandon, it's going to feel odd. Like time travel. Very cool and good for you!
Avatar 1:30am
Bic Lighter:

Bugs. We're covered in and contain multitudes of parasitic creatures. Bed bugs are only a minor nuisance. Certainly not as bad as the in-laws?
  1:30am
yippie:

bugs bunnies
  1:31am
greatbarrington:

I've been watching My So Called Life for the first time- a very back-to-school experience for me
  1:36am

You’re the best I can’t believe I’m hearing you right now
  1:42am

Where would anyone of us be without Metheny really

Hey Arnold is excellent for sight beyond what we can see, especially at night
Unfortunately Calvin is going on 5 days. He’s lost in an area with heavy population of Birds of Prey and Coyotes. He’s a small white dog. I believe mixed. Arnold is a 62 lb pitbull.awesome terrier instinct.
