I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Good un this week. As usual. And we haven't even broken out the blender yet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm Phillippe Bastille:

Marki, you're back! Did you know that funyums work well in bait traps for minnows and small fry until they disintegrate (the funyums, not the fish)? Same with cheese curls in Old Bay seasoning.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm Krys O.:

Elon Musk wants to nuke Mars.

Avatar 12:50pm markie_post:

@Phillippe - Had no idea! I used to drag loads Cheetos in a net while smelting in the great lakes..very little luck.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm Carmichael:

@phillippe, recover from the beastings yet?
Avatar 12:52pm markie_post:

Not smells like Friday more than a family style bag of Funyums and a bottle of Pims!
Happy Friday everyone!

Avatar 12:56pm markie_post:

Crushed Funyums on chili? YES PLEASE!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm steveo:

i want to nuke a soft pretzel.
a plate of incandescent light bulbs. a bottle of perfume. my personal favorite of which just comes with a box of soap.
one single piece of art to be destroyed.
a few cans of shampoo that I can't stand at all and wouldn't want my kids to smell.
a bunch of bottles of hot water. a bottle of perfume, a bunch of makeup, a handful of candy bars.
the only thing keeping me from using these items that would otherwise destroy them is a few hours of sleep every night and some very, very good music (I'm probably missing some awesome ones).
I used my favorite game's music as a soundboard for some of the destruction and I can already tell this piece is a keeper.

funyuns followed by a box of tic tacs.
today’s show rocks :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:11pm Phillippe Bastille:

@carmichael @12:51 I pay extra for them
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12pm Phillippe Bastille:

@marki I'm imagine the lack of Old Bay seasoning on your cheetos lead to your lack of luck smelting
Avatar 1:14pm markie_post:

If Stelarc can put an ear on his forearm, I can implant a Funyum.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm Phillippe Bastille:

@steveo I have a few bottles of store-brand flavored water that I'd like to throw on your heap.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15pm Phillippe Bastille:

Old Bay funyums would be pretty darn nice
Avatar 1:16pm Bryce:

lmaoooo, was just gonna recommend a candlepin bowling date with stelarc
Avatar 1:17pm Bryce:

in any event, maybe start with a saline donut. no need to rush into things
Avatar 1:17pm markie_post:

@Phillippe - you are on to something! Much better than green tea Funyums...
Avatar 1:19pm markie_post:

@Bryce - Thanks! I think you're right about the saline doughnut.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm Phillippe Bastille:

Random Old Bay note and then I will (mercifully) go away. Old Bay used to be the go-to seasoning for steamed crabs and steamed shrimp in Maryland. Spice giant McCormick bought the biz a few years back and the crab houses stopped using it, I guess priced out. A cottage industry of crab seasoning side hustles has developed and the variety of seasoning you get from crab house to crab house is now way better.
Avatar 1:23pm Chris from DC:

Locally, Flying Dog makes a pretty good beer with some Old Bay flavoring.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm Phillippe Bastille:

@Chris from DC Now that sounds good! Not sure I could drink it with crabs, though. Eating crabs is just about the only time the otherwise blase Natty Boh taste good
Avatar 1:26pm markie_post:

@Phillippe - That's sad news! The market in Baltimore must be doing poorly with no Old Bay.
Lawry's seasoning always attracts pan fish in the midwest, maybe good for crabs too?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm crateslinger:

You can trap squirrels with peanut butter on oreos. Works amazing. Tastes pretty good too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Phillippe Bastille:

Avatar 1:30pm Chris from DC:

@Phillippe, I was a little hesitant about it at first, but it's a really good summer ale and I bet would be good with crabs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:32pm Phillippe Bastille:

@Marki no problem there for Old Bay. Its on verything now. Cheetos, potato chips, beer, and Old Bay tee shirts are a must have if you are anywhere near the water (wore mine a couple days ago in fact.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm steveo:

just went out and walked around hell's kitchen with this show on in my ears and no one could tell that I was actually 44,000 leagues out into bryceville
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34pm Phillippe Bastille:

@Chris from DC If I ever fall off the wagon, I will give it a try!

Hello fellow Bryce listeners
@Markie post long time no see
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm Phillippe Bastille:

@sphere you were missed. a rather extensive discussion on the trials and tribulations of Old Bay Seasoning (excellent on cheetos in bait traps) higher in the thread
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm Ken From Hyde Park:

This tune goes well with carrot cake. Amazing, right?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm fred:

@RTD: You should ask for payment in carrot cakes or carrot ravioli recipes
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Phillippe Bastille:

Hmm, carrot cake with Old Bay cream cheese frosting? Juuuuust might work...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Ike:

This track reminds me of my food poisoning fever dreams and dizziness from earlier this week, but in a good way. Turnips be blessed.
  2:13pm John from Florham park:

@Kyrs o if you are stilll around loved that you were part of WFMU history this morning at the end of wake and bake

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm steveo:

I'll alert Sheila and make sure she also plays it, Rev
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:39pm chresti:

I would not complain if every dj played a Chester Hawkins original or two
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43pm fred:

3 plays in a row would bring the Rev.'s earning over the half of tenth of thousandth cent for today! That might be worth a puffin ravioli in celebration (with sriracha of course)
  2:46pm John from Florham park:

@Bryce it was very close to the end of wake and bake
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm sphere:

according to BMI, musicians get six cents per play on college radio. they were kinda sketchy about how much musicians get on commercial radio.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm Carmichael:

So a heavy rotation could get you several dollars. As in $2 ...
  2:58pm mic_jack:

Getting to be that time again. Thanks, Bryce!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58pm sphere:

thanks bryce
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00pm zopa:
