hey Scott and all
  3:07pm melinda:

Hi Scott and everyone
  3:12pm Listener Robert:

My compliments to Mr. Williams on the excellent loop of about 3 hours of music selections that played on WMFU via the site at Mount Hope NY when it lost the WFMU feed. My friend Bob here and I both enjoyed it. It's almost enough to make me wish the feed went down more often. You should do some of the alternate stream curation if you don't already.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm Yes:

is that loop available anywhere now?
Avatar 3:14pm fred:

Hello Scott and listeners. This R. Elizabeth track reminds me of the beginning of In C
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Love that Saharan intersection of African & Arabian & Tech we started with! ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Scott Williams:

G'dafternoon, friends! Thank you Listener Robert! That loop is available on a tiny 15 year old ipod, whiling away its days in the WMFU TX shack, waiting to be called back into service. As I recall, it's a lotta instro surf music - the good kind
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm Guido from Cologne:

Hello Scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm Scott Williams:

I hear that, Fred!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm Krys O.:

Mmmm, makes me think of Crispy Ambulance.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm The Oscar:

Afternoon! I've never heard a bad version of "The Crusher" (though, to be fair, this is only the fourth version I've ever heard).
  3:27pm chresti , freeway bound:

Hiya Scott
  3:29pm Ami Ad:

Avatar 3:34pm northguineahills:

Solar on! I know Chris plays w/ Matt Mottel, so if he plays w/ the Solar Motel Band, would it be the Solar Motel Mottel Band?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

See! See! ...I am not in the only improvisational Psych Gittar band in the universe ...& - I can prove it !!...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& YOUR amplifiers...
Avatar 3:41pm northguineahills:

Holy snaggletooth, my friends Sean O'Neal and Erin Anderson (Flowchart). I was just listening to this when driving from Gainesville to Orlando. Their next album was droney sterolabby, then they got ambient, then eventually minimal techno. He now heads Foundsound Recs, mostly minimal techno, but bleeps and bloops, and ambient/field recordsings. He records as "Someone Else"
Avatar 3:41pm northguineahills:

if wfmu.servebeer.com is to be believed, Scott played "Slow Ride" by Foghat on 3/21/2005. Busted!
Avatar 3:53pm fred:

I have to bail out early: long day, and I have to wake up early tomorrow. Have fun, kids

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:14pm chresti:

If you go up the coast, Fort Ross is a great place to camp..
Geez- nice and cool!
Avatar 5:15pm Franco Twinkie:

We had to run away fast. It turned into a total goon scene because of Outside Lands.
Avatar 5:17pm northguineahills:

The Eye of Yamataka! Phew!
Avatar 5:18pm geezerette:

Thanks, Chresti! Haven't heard of it before!

Franco, huh? I may need an afternoon espresso to decode that.
  5:19pm Mike tp:

soulful sui....
Avatar 5:21pm TDK60:

Go Scott Go!
Avatar 5:22pm Franco Twinkie:

Geeze, it's a big music festival in the park that turns our neighborhood into Spring Breakers.
Avatar 5:22pm geezerette:

Just realized I was listening to SJR stream!
Espresso definitely indicated.
Avatar 5:24pm northguineahills:

Implodes has a nice FSA sound!
Avatar 5:24pm geezerette:

Franco, which I spose could be good or bad, depending. Sounds like you guys made the right choice!
  5:26pm greatb:

Avatar 5:27pm TDK60:

Avatar 5:27pm geezerette:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:29pm Scott Williams:

Thanks Chresti! Anyone else have any tips for the coast north of SF?
Avatar 5:32pm Franco Twinkie:

Point Reyes Station!
  5:34pm Ike:

Mike Lupica is currently on WPRB Tuesdays 11 a.m.-2 p.m., just in time to provide a good alternative every week to that sonic pile of diseased bear shit known as Don Felder!

Anyway: Cool show Scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:34pm chresti:

We went to a coffee house in the neighborhood, which is on Potrero hill, spectacular views in every direction. We missed Granny, though.
  5:35pm Andrea in Jersey City:

Great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I miss ISB & many things - yet I am home - & there is more SW...
Avatar 5:36pm geezerette:

That coffee house sounds wonderful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Wonder if FOOM references Friends Of Old Marvel - the Marvel Comics fan club in the 70s some of us entered...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...itself a sort of inside reference to Marvel Monster name of Fing Fang Foom....
Avatar 5:41pm geezerette:

We love stopping at Nepenthe on the way up for same reason but the food is terrible. Love being there at twilight in winter.
Very beautiful.
Avatar 5:45pm Franco Twinkie:

I agree totally about Nepenthe. View - spectacular. Food - total crap. Next time, eat at the Big Sur bakery.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:47pm chresti:

Yes, winter/spring is the best time for Big Sur, less RVs clogging highway 1
  5:51pm imaad:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55pm chresti:

Thanks Scott! Have a blast!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Point Reyes is north of SF. It was a nice, quiet place with nice scenery. The redwoods at Muir Woods were also pretty cool. Didn't make it to Mt. Lassen, which seems to be awesome.
Avatar 5:56pm northguineahills:

Thanks, Scott!
  5:57pm melinda:

Great show, have a nice break!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:57pm Bas NL:

Thanks Scott! Have a great time out west!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:57pm Ken From Hyde Park:

If you bring some sourdough bread to the shore, you can have fun tossing bits of it to the seagulls. Stare them down if they seem to be getting too pushy.
Avatar 5:58pm geezerette:

Thanks, Scott!
Avatar 5:58pm Franco Twinkie:

Ken, Muir woods is fantastic!
Avatar 5:58pm TDK60:

Well thanks, disc jockey Scott.
