Kind of like taking your parents record collection and getting drunk in a Radio Shack. Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Garage Punk, Regular Punk and Old-Fashioned Weirdos. Hopefully you have the patience for this fast-paced sonic impatience. Not recommended for the fan of 4 minute songs.

Mission of Burma!! Oh man, used to love these guys. Been ages since I heard 'em.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15pm Rich in Washington:

They were fantastic! Never got to see them live and am sort of a late-comer to their catalog, but just amazing.
Avatar 2:15pm Mr Fab:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm Rich in Washington:

I'm really appreciating R.E.M. in my advancing decrepitude.
Avatar 2:19pm Mr Fab:

Amazingly authentic Mersey beat sounds from the Poppees
Avatar 2:19pm recordrouletteclub:

@Rich--Met too!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20pm Jan Turkenburg:

I've sent you a fb message, Danny
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22pm Rich in Washington:

I once talked to Peter Buck for a long time at the radio station and didn't realize who he was until he left. He was really cool.
Avatar 2:24pm Mr Fab:

i was a REM fan in my 80s youth, "Lifes Rich Pageant" being my fave. Same em live on the tour for that album. By the 90s, i hated em so bad, i got rid of their albums, retroactively deciding i never liked em the 1st place! Silly, I know. But they really did suck in the '90s
Avatar 2:30pm recordrouletteclub:

Fab- Yeah, I thought that REM joint with KRS-1 was horrible. Like..bad.
Avatar 2:31pm recordrouletteclub:

Bad meaning BAD.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm Rich in Washington:

They sort of succumbed to the same malaise as bands like Talking Heads, sort of believe what critics say about them and it goes to their head.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:39pm Rich in Washington:

Swingin' show today, recordrouletteclub!
Avatar 2:40pm recordrouletteclub:

I'm mixin' it up a bit. Thanks!!
Avatar 2:42pm Mr Fab:

Ah, the Dickies, they were the band i never meant to see live, but always did, cuz they were always opening for someone big. (Which was fine by me, who don't like the Dickies?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Hi, All. Logged in just to agree with you guys about REM.
Avatar 2:44pm recordrouletteclub:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:47pm Rich in Washington:

Hiya, Hopey!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:47pm Otis Fodder:

I have 15min before I have to be another client call. REM, ha ha. That Radio song was bad meaning bad not bad meaning good. Never did get into REM, something about the voice... but do like Peter Buck and he is quite the record collector.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm Otis Fodder:

Oh, you played The Brood, nice! Will be listening to the archive ya bet!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Hi Guys! And I too saw the Dickies open for lots of bands back in the day. I think I actually did see them on purpose a couple of times, though.
Avatar 2:49pm recordrouletteclub:

Avatar 2:51pm Mr Fab:

i clicky-starred that Brood song, gonna have to investigate them further. (hey Hopey 'n' Otis!)
Avatar 2:52pm Martinibomb:

Hey Danny had ya on in the background all moring just too busy to chat much. Hope everyone is good.
Avatar 2:53pm recordrouletteclub:

Avatar 2:53pm recordrouletteclub:

Hi Martini!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Hopey & Oats, part of a complete breakfast.
Avatar 2:57pm Mr Fab:
