Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:05pm Rich in Washington:

Hi Mary!
Hello fellow 100%ers!
Avatar 12:10pm βrian:

Good afternoon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm Michael 98145:

Hmm
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm Carmichael:

Heya Mary. No link to here from the main page.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm Carmichael:

OK, disregard. Popped up while I was chasing you down.
Avatar 12:26pm Mary Wing:

Hello Rich, Brian, Michael, and Carmicheal!
Avatar 12:30pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@Brian and @Michael: How did you find the playlist today? Did you see a link from the main WFMU homepage, that Carmichael didn't see?
Avatar 12:30pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

(and @Rich)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32pm Rich in Washington:

I went to the schedule table when I didn't see a playlist on the main page.
It's not too uncommon for a playlist to not be immediately available, so that's my usual method.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm Rich in Washington:

going to be interesting to see how quick we get playlists going once all of us are live on the Sheena's Jungle Room stream. We're rolling that out today, in fact.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm Carmichael:

That's how I got here, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm chresti:

Good whatever!
Avatar 12:36pm Mary Wing:

Howdy Kenzo and chresti!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm Ken From Hyde Park:

•mops brow• Hi, there. Will SJR have a daily email like the Drummer Stream has, if it doesn't already?
Avatar 12:41pm Mary Wing:

I'm not sure who is in charge of SJR, actually.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm Rich in Washington:

Not that I am aware of - but if you're so inclined, you can join the Sheena's Jungle Room group on Facebook! I am sure something like an email list may be in the offing as we move out of the Beta stage and get even beta than evah.
Avatar 12:43pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@Rich some changes coming in a week and a half to behind-the-scenes playlist editor stuff that will make it so that playlists will be linked to more automatically more often.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm Rich in Washington:

The Major Domo of SJR is Mr. Fab, of Music For Maniacs blog and mashup artist RIAA fame.
Right now lots of organizing/cat herding is being done via FB. There's also a table on the main WFMU site under LISTEN.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm Rich in Washington:

The schedule's rather sparse at the moment but more DJs/shows are being added soon. Plus, as I said earlier, most of us are going live this week, with everyone eventually going live. We're from all over the globe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm chresti:

Mr. Fab is the SJR administrator
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm Carmichael:

The Butte County folks! Good to hear from the locals again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm Rich in Washington:

I've never actually heard the original of this... Very cool!
Avatar 12:47pm βrian:

We're trying to convince 5-year old she might like a Sinéad haircut.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49pm chresti:

I owe Rich a...cookie
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm Carmichael:

The original of this is about 200 years old.
Avatar 12:53pm Mary Wing:

The original of what, Rich?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm Carmichael:

I meant the Sinead.
Avatar 12:58pm Sem:

Greets, Mary, and the 100%.
Avatar 12:58pm david w:

Jumping on the 1:00 Whatever train! Hello Mary and all!
Avatar 1:02pm Mary Wing:

Hiya Sem and David! Jump jump!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm Rich in Washington:

Sorry. Was sucked into a work meeting. Hate when that happens
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:24pm Rich in Washington:

I remember reading the lyrics to Lost In The Supermarket in a high school literature poetry unit, as an example of pop music as poetry type thing and my teacher going 'Oh dear' during the line 'I wasn't born, so much as I fell out'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25pm Rich in Washington:

This is the second reference to Mick Jones I've seen today. Please tell me it's his birthday or he's being knighted or something...
Avatar 1:25pm Mary Wing:

Heh. Nice choice of lyrics!
Avatar 1:26pm Mary Wing:

Yes, it's his birthday, 64 years old!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm Rich in Washington:

Oh good. That's a relief. Been purposely avoiding the news to try to preserve what's left of my mind.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm Michael 98145:

i don't have much left, myself
Avatar 1:36pm Mary Wing:

I think I lost my mind today, I missed an application deadline for something that I really wanted.
Avatar 1:38pm northguineahills:

Earthmonkey reminds me of Follakzoid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39pm Michael 98145:

enjoying this
Avatar 1:39pm Mary Wing:

Hiya NGH! Yes, I can hear Folllakzoid in this...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Amazon Prime Day comes on two days this year, so you have a better opportunity to get something you really want.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm Michael 98145:

@Mary W, we have so many things coming at us from every angle, it is a wonder we can cope. At least we have this refuge :)
Avatar 1:43pm Mary Wing:

Indeed, Michael, indeed. A few hours to distract myself from the constant self-loathing, heh.
Avatar 1:46pm βrian:

Thanks for the unruly noise, Mary. It's keeping me on an even keel.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Michael 98145:

This is as long as a Bryce track

:)

good
Avatar 1:57pm northguineahills:

Earthmonkey also has a hue of early Bowery Electric....
Avatar 1:57pm northguineahills:

what Michael said, Earthmonkey, new to me and digdug!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:57pm Carmichael:

Meetings for me too. I work in government and June 30th is the big fiscal close day, so I'm getting crazy frantic messages from normally nominally sane people.
Avatar 1:58pm Mary Wing:

Funny you should mention Bryce; I'm wearing his marbles in a blender T-shirt today!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58pm Michael 98145:

yay !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59pm Michael 98145:

{ yes, biennium close ... erk }
Avatar 2:03pm Mary Wing:

Heh, I am glad that businesses have different fiscal years, so that everyone isn't melting down at the same time every year.
Avatar 2:08pm northguineahills:

Always dug this REM....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10pm Carmichael:

Have not listened much to REM. This seems pretty good.
Avatar 2:13pm Mary Wing:

This was the last album where I was a major fan; didn't like Green too much but came back around for Out Of Time and then lost touch with them completely.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:14pm Michael 98145:

i'm always surprised by these unsuspected covers ..
Avatar 2:15pm northguineahills:

I was w/ REM until Up.... (I'm rare in that regard).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Email notified me that beer will be sold at Monty Hall tonight. That's the hot ticket tonight!
Avatar 2:31pm Mary Wing:

Hi Ken! Liquor license for the Mdou show, sweet!
Avatar 2:44pm βrian:

How much does a decent beer cost, these days, in Jersey City?
Avatar 2:46pm Mary Wing:

Beats me! I drink white Russians, the choice of The Dude!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:47pm Carmichael:

Abide!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm chresti:

Thanks Mary!
Avatar 2:51pm northguineahills:

Thanks, Mary!
Avatar 2:51pm βrian:

Vin rouge for me. Unless it's vin blanc ...
Avatar 2:52pm northguineahills:

Can't drink white Russians... can't drink coffee and shouldn't have dairy.... (but anything else alcoholic suffices for me)
Avatar 2:52pm northguineahills:

(as long as there isn't too much sugar)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm chresti:

Sparkling water and the green stuff for me...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm Michael 98145:

the time does fly. thank you again, Mary W ♫
Avatar 2:54pm Mary Wing:

The green stuff? Kale smoothies?
Avatar 2:54pm david w:

Off to the Ridgewood treasure hunt, thanks Mary!
Avatar 2:55pm Sem:

Grape kool-aid, only if I'm not driving.
See you next time, Mary. You're the best whatever-er, ever.
Avatar 2:55pm Mary Wing:

Hi there, Sem! Been lurking this whole time?
Avatar 2:56pm βrian:

When offered Tawny, I think, well, any port in a storm.
Avatar 2:56pm Mary Wing:

Oops, no, I said hi to you earlier. Heh, I am truly out of my mind today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00pm Michael 98145:

oh, yes, that. on to July -
Avatar 3:00pm Mary Wing:

Thanks for listening!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Mary. May the rest of your day go better.
