Hi there!!! Welcome to this fill-in show. It's past midnight where I'm living, when this is streaming, so I won't be here live, but I would very much appreciate any comment. I hope you'll enjoy yourselves. (don't forget to hit the refresh button to see new comments) Bye bye!

Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:03pm Mr Fab:

Spacebrother Greg was abducted by saucer people, so he couldn't make it today. But Jan is here. the man's a true champ, filling in when he hears Sheena's jungle cry for help.
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:04pm Martinibomb:

Great show interesting vibe
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:06pm Mr Fab:

Lol racoons
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:07pm Rich in Washington:

What's all this then?
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:08pm Martinibomb:

I went down the MIXXX rabbit hole and came up with a super cool way of rigghing that software up with a mic/turntables going into ableton.. insane o
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:10pm Mr Fab:

Hey Rich! don't now the background behind this racoon encounter. A youtube vid perhaps? But I do know this music makes everything sound profound.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:13pm Rich in Washington:

This is groovy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:14pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Super groovy!
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:15pm Mr Fab:

never thought of Eleanor Rigby as cop-show chase music. Shows you how much I know.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:16pm Rich in Washington:

Dystopian alternative reality 60s movie idea wherein everyone must perform a Beatles cover or face some Kafkaesque tribunal.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:19pm Rich in Washington:

I'll bet there are more obligatory Beatles covers than obligatory Dylan covers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:23pm Rich in Washington:

This is cool!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:24pm Rich in Washington:

Jan, if you're reading this later, I sure dig your selections!
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:28pm Mr Fab:

What he said^^
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:32pm Martinibomb:

Great Show as always you devil Jan! Good vibe/eclectic mix I dig it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:33pm Rich in Washington:

WOW~
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:33pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Aww yeah, Popcorn.
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:35pm Martinibomb:

@Rich omfg I'm deep in mixxx right on osx it's cool cause you can send each of the 4 decks/mic/aux inputs all over Soundflower 32 stereo channels total. SO I'm sending everying to Ableton live and mixing there/adding fx/recording but I'm playing everything from MIXXX and it's handling the mic inputs as well. Plus I've got multiple midi controllers working at the same time with it. It's good piece of software. I could rig up a MIXXX + Reaper rig for people that would be an insane piece of Dj gear.
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:37pm Martinibomb:

DUDE! JAN IS on the Piano! Man I just had that tuned last week. Be careful!
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:37pm Mr Fab:

Ha, orchestral Popcorn. Nutty!
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:38pm Martinibomb:

5 notes that all you need! All hail the black keys/pentatonic scale
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:41pm Rich in Washington:

Dang. I used to use Mixxx on my old Powerbook that ran also ran Ableton. I had no idea. The most complicated thing I do that's MIDI is use a simple USB DJ mixer on my current Macbook pro. Nothin' fancy.
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:49pm Martinibomb:

@Rich u should install SoundFlower on your Macbook Pro. That's the thing that makes it super easy to route audio from different apps you're running on your Mac into other programs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:52pm Rich in Washington:

Diggin' these Beatles covers!
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:56pm Mr Fab:

Toby Rix was like the Spike Jones of the Netherlands. Fun stuff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/17/19 7:57pm Rich in Washington:

Thanks, Jan! Great show!
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:58pm Martinibomb:

@Fab I think my show is going to be late this week. Trying to make a guest thing happen tomorrow but it's going to be cutting it close.. so I might have to rush one late tomorrow.
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:59pm Mr Fab:

Thanks again, Jan! More wonderful stuff i had no idea existed.
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 7:59pm Mr Fab:

No prob, MB, thx for the heads up
Avatar Mon. 6/17/19 8:28pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Been curious about Mixxx for a while.
