Hello, DW, Ruth, OAR folk, regulars here, irregulars wanting to level up, and all.
Retiring to the back of the hall and settling in for a good listen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm Webhamster Henry:

Hi David & Ruth! Is that fly out of the studio yet?
It's fun to hear the Cage-Feldman conversations that used to run on the Boredcast.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm Webhamster Henry:

Here it is: wfmu.org...

Stanley is all cleaned up, chresti has Google maps, Sem in the zone, and Henry is doing research. Perfect. Except I'm totally clumsy on the computer today.
Avatar 3:16pm david w:

Well that was me. I'll fix it in the archive.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm chresti:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm Stanley:

An old friend introduced me to minimalism.
It was the least he could do
Avatar 3:19pm geezerette:

Stanley! Funny! :)
Avatar 3:20pm david w:

Hello geez, steveo, Stanley...!!! Sorry about the glitches, worst thing I could do to Morton, unfocus the listener!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm crateslinger:

Doe that mean I have a developed ear? That I could tell something was not right?
  3:21pm Mark R:

When I first started volunteering at FMU, I was going through the library, going, "Man, we sure have a lot of albums by this Morton Feldman guy!" Now I understand.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm crateslinger:

Although I admit I wasn't sure and had moved on...
Avatar 3:23pm david w:

crateslinger, ...maybe?
Avatar 3:24pm geezerette:

Avatar 3:24pm david w:

Hey, Mark R! Cool!
  3:24pm ?:

Quite lovely to hear a cello impersonate an oboe
Avatar 3:26pm david w:

Interesting ...?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm Stanley:

Who let those pesky mice back in?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm Webhamster Henry:

I guess we'll have to run out and get that Tzadik CD.
Avatar 3:33pm david w:

Sorry Stanley, the computer has slipped into random mode and it appears I'd have to reboot to get back to unity.
  3:33pm heinseng:

High church indeed
Avatar 3:35pm david w:

heinseng you dears.
Avatar 3:50pm geezerette:

Was just thinking how beautiful the patterns were and how equivalent to painting this music is, then looked to see what album.
Avatar 3:52pm david w:

Yep, geez Morton hung out with all those cats. Rothko, Pollock...
Avatar 3:53pm geezerette:

My favorites.
Avatar 3:54pm geezerette:

...and Reinhardt.
Avatar 4:04pm geezerette:

Avatar 4:14pm david w:

One arpeggio, one thousand ways, until its not...
Avatar 4:32pm geezerette:

Lovely long quotation from Feldman about his music. A really good piece from The Guardian. Great photo too.
Avatar 4:37pm david w:

Thanks, geez. Nice. Loud brute from Queens, buddies with ultra softspoken Cage (they were neighbors for a while, same building), and surprisingly photogenic.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm steveo:

It's okay to wander off or to go deep, either.
