First official show?? Nice! Dot Dash seems perfect after Marty. Thanks for sacrificing your Saturday nights for the greater good!

This is everybody’s favorite psychedelic song.

rw:

And if it’s not it’s because they don’t know.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51am
TomDash:

Hey rw - thanks! Should be a fun 3 months! Truth be told...this and Tomorrow Never Knows might be tied for my fave psych tune!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52am
TomDash:

...and thanks all for tuning in and showing the love!
  12:56am
Sasha:

Glad to hear you're here Tom Dash! I'm still thinking about Roky a lot. Tomorrow Never Knows and Slip Inside This House are two of my favorite psych songs too...
  12:56am
rw:

Okay, that one too. Don’t crash!!
  1:14am
Sasha:

Love this Electronic Hole song too...but woah, this record sounds warped?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17am
TomDash:

Hey Sasha - it's a boot and I always kinda thought it was suppose to sound warbly, but who knows? ha! maybe a bad pressing...
  1:20am
Sasha:

Ha, I just have mp3s of songs from that record and don't recall that one sounding so warbly...kinda added a cool effect.
Avatar 1:22am
DocBlueDog:

FUCK YEAH... love Moon Duo and this Ripley produced ROSE CITY BAND PROJECT is awesome. Note this song sounds distinctly like the DVDA song played while ORGAZMO tries out the Orgazmaradar on various civilians. Ha it does.
  1:22am
rw:

Chiming back in here because... well, I guess because I'm kind of a geek. Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy is a great psychedelic album that nobody thinks of as a psychedelic album.

Sasha I'm not super familiar with that song but I also liked the warble!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:24am
TomDash:

rw - Taking Tiger Mountain is a top 10 record for me...and yeah DocBlueDog - groovy Ripley folky jams love it!
  1:27am
Sasha:

Yeah, totally agree about Taking Tiger Mountain!
Avatar 1:32am
DocBlueDog:

BHS surfers. Nice choice. 2nd fave band of all time. Saw them for the first time at the CAT CLUB in NYC in 1985. Many times after. Hope a new album materializes
Avatar 1:34am
DocBlueDog:

Haven’t seen anything with that new feel in a long time... but caught Pil at Union Pools this past winter and that was FRESH.

@TomDash: If you keep this sort of musical journey up, you're guaranteed a strong listening audience as evidenced by the many positive comments you're receiving. As one of fmu's longest listeners (since 11/67) I've learned your taste in music has wide appeal. I'll be sure to keep listening. Best of luck with your new show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33am
TomDash:

Hey thanks CDToaster! Had many years of radio in the past at various points, but got the bug to do it again and joined WFMU last summer starting with fill-ins. Thrilled to have a show!
Avatar 2:51am
CDToaster:

@TomDash: Seems I hadn't been lucky enough to catch any of your previous fill-in shows but I'm ALWAYS listening to fmu in this time slot so I'll be sure to catch each of your upcoming shows. Looking forward to them!
