Hi, everyone!
I'm currently on holiday in Dorset - yay! Beaches! - but I've set out some chips and dips for you to enjoy the party.
Please mingle, chat, and have fun. :-)
Avatar 3:01pm worldsworstrecords:

Hope you're having a fantastic break, GG
Avatar 3:03pm Mr Fab:

And now the EZ sounds of..."Animal House"? Perhaps this episode won't be as EZ as usual. Very appropriate , since this channel is pretty much the Animal House of WFMU.
Avatar 3:04pm Martinibomb:

Sheena's Jungle Room Dj's get to go on Holiday?
Avatar 3:04pm Martinibomb:

I guess if you're doing 2 or more shows a week you can go on Holiday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Animal House was the very first R rated movie that I saw in a theater.
Avatar 3:08pm Martinibomb:

And filmed here in Oregon near where I grew up.
Avatar 3:08pm Mr Fab:

but she does her shows anyway! Ahead of time. Cuz Sheena's IS a holiday.
Avatar 3:09pm Martinibomb:

That's right! This stream is a continuous holiday of super fantastik music.
Avatar 3:15pm Mr Fab:

Animal House wasn't "punk" per se, but i do think it's interesting a film as anarchistic as that was released just as punk was hitting.
Avatar 3:21pm Martinibomb:

I'm drinking my coffee through a red vine straw right now. How's that for class?
Avatar 3:27pm Mr Fab:

wish I knew which track this is...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

@Mr Fab: yeah, I was really digging that track before TogaToga!
Avatar 3:33pm Martinibomb:

Well we're at Piero Umiliani that much I know
Avatar 3:34pm Martinibomb:

Bruno Nicolia or Maybe Gianni Marchetti? That Berto PPisano one is kidna crime sounding if that's the one?
Avatar 3:35pm Mr Fab:

oh yeah, sounds like "Mah na Mah Na" now. Gotta be umiliani
Avatar 3:38pm Martinibomb:

I've got that soundtrack it's from a movie 5 Dolls for an August moon?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm Rich in Washington:

this is effing brilliant!
Avatar 3:45pm Martinibomb:

Sounds like Stelvio to me that bass I could be wrong
Avatar 3:50pm Mr Fab:

hey, at least no pledges died during hazing at Delta house.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm Rich in Washington:

We're living in a world where the Omegas are the heroes and we're all on double secret probation.
Avatar 3:56pm Martinibomb:

Avatar 3:58pm Martinibomb:

I love the movie this Cipriani track is from.. killer track to go out on GG!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm Rich in Washington:

I first saw Animal House when it was on network TV, all sanitized and everything. I taped it and watched it often. Was really something to actually see it on VHS later.
Avatar 3:59pm Martinibomb:

yeh same here Rich!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00pm Rich in Washington:

This show was/is brilliant, GeorgyGirl! Been listening while editing video, fingers too busy to comment much. Hope you're having an enjoyable holiday at the beach!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm Jan Turkenburg:

Just tuned in. I will catch you at the archives, Georgy :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm Rich in Washington:

I don't recall Animal House being released right away. It seems like it took a while. A lot of films in the early days of VHS rentals didn't get released until years later, if I recall.
Avatar 4:01pm Mr Fab:

what, done already? Fantastic (toga) party GG, thx muchly!
