Hey Kris and Chresti
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:06pm Matt from New Orleans:

I mentioned you and Danny eating dinner on finewine’s board on Friday because I was asking him if he had ever been to ARC and he said he had not
Avatar 10:06pm Kris Holmes:

Hi Matt
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm Matt from New Orleans:

I like Brother Jack. Always a chill listen
Avatar 10:09pm Kris Holmes:

He needs to come one year. Danny & I had a great time. Dinner Friday was great. A Mexican/Indian Fusion place. Heavy record discussions were had by the six of us there.

Hi Jason
Avatar 10:46pm Franco Twinkie:

Okay Kris. That last admission...Until I find a test pressing... Now I say this with love and respect, but that illustrates the difference between the committed and those who should be committed.

Huey Meaux turned out to be a real piece of shit aside from being a shady record label owner.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:53pm Matt from New Orleans:

In case anyone is interested in reading about his sordid life
Avatar 10:54pm Kris Holmes:

yeah, not a great human unfortunately
Avatar 10:58pm Franco Twinkie:

Thanks Matt! As a research fellow I need to read the most sordid hear say as well as the elevated white wash that comes wrapped around reissues.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59pm Matt from New Orleans:

Kris what’s the deal with the 12” of this I see on discogs?
Avatar 10:59pm Kris Holmes:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01pm Matt from New Orleans:

I’m an idiot I clicked on the wrong Paul Vann song on SS7
Avatar 11:01pm Franco Twinkie:

As well as been a band leader, Billy Vera had a great radio show on KCRW in the hazy past.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01pm Matt from New Orleans:

Ignore my query
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm Matt from New Orleans:

It was Hello my Lover I clicked on selling for over $600 btw
Avatar 11:04pm Kris Holmes:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12pm Matt from New Orleans:

Avatar 11:30pm Little Danny:

To any curious listeners: Kris is the best
Avatar 11:31pm Kris Holmes:

Avatar 11:33pm Kris Holmes:

Yes Dan great to see you & no, you're the best.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33pm Matt from New Orleans:

I was talking about Willie tee last night with Larry during his non WFMU show. I was still living in NY when Willie played at the McCarren Park pool in Williamsburg in summer 07. I went to the show and moved to New Orleans soon after and soon after that I was at Willie’s second line. It was all in less than 2 months. I think it was his last show. He looked healthy and put on a great show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:35pm Matt from New Orleans:

Earl died between the show and when I moved to New Orleans
Avatar 11:35pm Little Danny:

@J2tK: Me? All goes well. Listening to Kris, cleaning records from the Austin show, and packaging up 45s to be shipped out tomorrow. The complete human.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:36pm Matt from New Orleans:

A rough month or so for the Turbinton family
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:40pm JtotheK:

dan, sounds like you have a full night ahead!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41pm Matt from New Orleans:

I found an old post about the show I saw. Great lineup. I had forgotten that Bobby Patterson preformed.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:45pm JtotheK:

This Parliament 45 reminds me that I have yet to find 'Come In Out of the Rain.'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49pm Matt from New Orleans:

Thanks Kris enjoyed the show tonight. See you next week.
Avatar 11:51pm Kris Holmes:

Thanks Matt
Avatar 11:53pm Franco Twinkie:

I'm glad you spent whatever extra lunch money you had in Austin. It made for a top notch show!
Avatar 11:55pm Franco Twinkie:

Sir Douglas Rifa!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56pm JtotheK:
