A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

@WH, that's funny, I like thinking KG is still playing it somewhere, maybe on a boombox, maybe while riding trains, like the mentally-ill guy who was playing bad mainstream hip-hop (90s or 00s maybe) on the 5 train (and then the CD crapped out and he started trying to talk to everybody which was worse). @AaronfromMI: One of the people who has logged the most sightings in Military Park is a professor at NJIT and colleague of David Rothenberg, author of a book called "Why Birds Sing" and past guest of This Is the Modern World!

Late to wishing Brian Eno birthday greetings and thanks for the sequence this morning Trouble. It's actually Robert Fripp's today...I'm sure they celebrated together at one point in their collaborations. H.B. to them both.

hi, Trouble. i'd like to read that, too. That Deborahe Glasgow track got me on a tangent hunt for more lover's rock, but would like to know more about the context of the music for sure.

@Mike G I can confirm — the "attractive Asian woman" you met told us she was Eno's wife. Can't remember her name but she wrote a slim graphic novel.
