Hi, everyone! I'm not going to be here for today's show - I'm watching a recreation of a 1920s flea circus at the Brighton Fringe Festival ... BUT ... please mingle and chat and enjoy the music. Leave me lovely messages! Hugs! Georgy x
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:00pm Jan Turkenburg:

And we're off! Who elth ith lithening?? :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:01pm Rich in Washington:

Hiya, DJ GeorgyGirl! Going to be listening really loud in the kitchen whilst cooking up breakfast!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:01pm Rich in Washington:

You must let us know how the flea circus went. I'm itchin' to know!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:02pm Jan Turkenburg:

Hi Rich, what's cooking? :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:04pm Rich in Washington:

Hi Jan! Some diced potatoes, onions, garlic, rosemary, with eggs fried in the middle and some chicken andouille sausages.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:05pm Jan Turkenburg:

wow, that sounds terrific!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:05pm Rich in Washington:

Is it me, or is this completely different episode playing? Isn't this last week's show?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:06pm Rich in Washington:

It is!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:06pm Jan Turkenburg:

I was wondering the same thing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:06pm Rich in Washington:

Alright then. I'm off to kitchenville. Chatting will be difficult.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:07pm Jan Turkenburg:

ok, I'll have the show in teh background of my activities as well :-) Enjoy your breakfast!
Avatar 5/10 1:08pm Mr Fab:

weird, can't get the right show to play. workin on it...
Avatar 5/10 1:09pm Mr Fab:

i loaded
'may 10' show, and it keeps playing 'may 2'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:14pm Jan Turkenburg:

ok
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:16pm Jan Turkenburg:

woops...
  5/10 1:17pm Elizabeth:

I can't get the May 10 show to load either! Just the show from the previous week!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:17pm Otis Fodder:

Hello all. I thought I was going mad just now, looking for Led Zep.
Avatar 5/10 1:19pm Mr Fab:

Damn, tried to force it to play, but friggin Led Zep again. Sorry, Georgy, I tried!
Avatar 5/10 1:21pm Mr Fab:

well, folks, guess we'll just have to enjoy a special "encore" edition of The Flange & Frigate. We'll try 'er again next week. (Hope the rest of the day goes better than this...)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:22pm Otis Fodder:

Could it be swapped out post-show for later listening in the archives?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:23pm Jan Turkenburg:

Too bad, but hey ... this show is worth listening a second time. We're only a bit dazed and confused...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:24pm Otis Fodder:

Oh yea, letting it roll. If only for the killer closer of 'Open Up (Said the World At the Door)' by The Move.
Avatar 5/10 1:24pm Mr Fab:

Otis, we'll try to run it again next week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:25pm Otis Fodder:

Sweet!
Avatar 5/10 1:25pm Mr Fab:

I dont' put shows in the archive, happens automatiaclly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:38pm Webhamster Henry:

You should do like Ken's Last Ever and just play old shows with the old comments and continue adding new comments!
Avatar 5/10 1:39pm Mr Fab:

ha!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:40pm Timeshifted Rich in Washington:

Alice was such a bizarre show. I remember watching it as a kid on Friday nights. Just something to watch in those pre-VCR, pre-cable, pre-everything days.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5/10 1:48pm Webhamster Henry:

I reiterate my wish last week to edit up some Telly Savalas into Sheena station ids.
Avatar 5/10 1:55pm Mr Fab:

I'm all for that Henry
Avatar 5/10 1:57pm Martinibomb:

Hows the Sheena's Jungle Room Friday DJ crew feelin' today!?
Avatar 5/10 1:58pm Mr Fab:

Annoyed!

Couldn't get the proper show to play. This is last week's episode. But other than that...
Avatar 5/10 1:59pm Martinibomb:

Yeah that is annoying! Oh well at least all of GGs shows are fantastic and always worth hearing again.
Avatar 5/10 2:01pm Martinibomb:

I have to go do some yard work before it gets to 90. Be back in the chat room for Otis later. Guess I'm listening to an encore edition while I chop weeds
Avatar 5/10 2:50pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@Henry 1:38 I resemble that! (I don't "just" do that.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Let's try again, kids!!!
The playlist is there for your delectation but we can chat as the music plays :-)
Avatar 12:28pm Mr Fab:

Hey GG! Like Helen Shapiro and Georgie Fame say, "Forget About The Bad Things" and "Get On The Right Track." Hopefully that's what we can do today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I see what you did there ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Fingers crossed everyone ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm Rich in Washington:

I'm confused.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00pm Rich in Washington:

Oh right. Now I remember.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I can't delete this playlist and set up a new one - so let's enter the time loop! ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:01pm Rich in Washington:

Hiya, GeorgyGirl!
Hi Mr. Fab!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:01pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

It's the right one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm Rich in Washington:

Im stuck at my desk at work. No epic breakfast cooking for me today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Don't believe me when I tell you that I'm away at a Fringe gig tho ;-) I'm right here! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Oh no! Why the change of routine, Rich?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm Rich in Washington:

Oh, just super busy at work, so on the Fridays where I don't do radio late the night before, I must actually go to the office. Not sure what my schedule will look like in June, so there's that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Enjoy the espresso and the frothy coffee by the way. I've set u[ a Gaggia in the corner of the Flange.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Hopefully the music will soothe :-)
Avatar 1:05pm Mr Fab:

Relieved that right show started this time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm Rich in Washington:

the Fridays were I DO do radio the night before, I am usually completely wiped out, so rather useless at work, so take a skip day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:06pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

All sounds lovely, Mr Fab. Thank you for that :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Except I am here now! Hello! I'm here!! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08pm Otis Fodder:

Hello, all tuned in, kettle on the stovetop, listening in coffee creation mode.
Avatar 1:08pm Mr Fab:

'Sup, Rich! GG, i have an excellent comp called "Soho Blondes & Peeping Toms," described as "saucy tracks reminiscent of red lights and red faces, of '60s Soho and the Profumo era." I have (or will) add scads of tracks from it to the Sheena stream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Hello Otis! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Lovely Mr fab - I have that album! Are you surprised? ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Good old Profumo ;-)
Avatar 1:10pm Mr Fab:

hey cool, 'Come On, Let's Go' is a Richie Valens song. San Fernando Valley represent!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Yeah - early British rock and roll. We didn't know what to do with ourselves at the start of it all, so loads of cover versions until we found our feet :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm Rich in Washington:

Love the tympani on this track!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Super talented AND married to Joan Collins - lucky bloke! ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I love this song. Always have. Johnny Kidd :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:18pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

There's not an awful lot going on in it - I think it's that eerie sparseness that makes it.
Avatar 1:19pm duke:

@DJGG me too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@duke - glad you love it too!! :-)
  1:20pm Colin in Durham, England:

First time catching this live since the first show!
Avatar 1:20pm Mr Fab:

Mae West covered "Shakin All Over"! And yes, it's in the Sheena stream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Mr Fab - she does a cracking version of it, to be fair! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Link to an article about Ken Russell's photography on the Sheena Facebook group now :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25pm Rich in Washington:

This is really manic! I love it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Good old David Sutch :-)
Avatar 1:26pm Mr Fab:

yeah, I usually think of Screaming Lord Sutch as the horror novelty guy, but this rocks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm Rich in Washington:

Sounds like the Meat Puppets crazed version is just a straight cover of Sutch's!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I'm glad you both like it :-) I wanted to play more by him and not just, like you say, the horror stuff :-)
Avatar 1:29pm Martinibomb:

I'm here listening just off doing various tasks
Avatar 1:30pm Mr Fab:

Was this a hit, or at least well-known record, or an obscurity that the Clash discovered?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

He was HUGE in France - I'm jjust about to post the article I wrote about him on the group :-) Fascinating stuff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm Rich in Washington:

I'm tediously logging (helpfully silent) video footage today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Cliff auditioning for The Beatles here ;-)
Avatar 1:33pm Martinibomb:

I think that hip hop groups also sampled that brand new Cadillac for a song but i can't seem to find it.. I know that riff was used for some hiphop back in the early 90s
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Yes ... can't think of it either. He's definitely super underrated in terms of influence.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I cannot even begin to imagine what Screaming Lord Sutch would have made of Brexit. lol.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

In the wake of Jimmy Saville and Operation Yewtree, a number of entertainers from that period were taken in for questioning to varying degrees, and some ended up being prosecuted and imprisoned. That's why I mentioned Cliff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm Rich in Washington:

Yeah, it was shocking to see Cliff caught up in that.
Avatar 1:41pm Mr Fab:

Cliff's "Devil Woman" did go Top 10 in the US. So there's that.
Avatar 1:41pm Martinibomb:

gawd damn fun little melody and chugging drums
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm Rich in Washington:

I distinctly recall that song being played on the radio a lot as a kid. I still like it. Love 70s story songs.
Avatar 1:42pm Mr Fab:

Johnny and the Hurricanes?! Yes,an American band infilitrates th Flange and Frigate!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

"Devil Woman" comes from the "I'm Nearly Famous" album. A staggeringly brilliant album. Genuinely. :-)
Avatar 1:43pm Martinibomb:

Play some Jet Harris & Tony Meehan :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Did I just cock up again? Are the Hurricanes another Sir Julian moment? Ha! Opps ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Thumbs up to Jet and Tony! I'll be revisiting early British rock and roll at a later date :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

And my obsession with "Golden Earrings" continues ;-)
Avatar 1:45pm Martinibomb:

I can never get enough of Jet Harris & his baritone guitar/bass work. Would have loved to have seen him live
Avatar 1:47pm Martinibomb:

Just saw that The Ventures are selling off their guitar collection in my neighborhood.. guess I should go get autographs.
Avatar 1:48pm Mr Fab:

wiki sez: "Johnny and the Hurricanes were an American instrumental rock and roll band from Toledo, Ohio."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

He did rather tend to get - pun sadly intended - overshadowed by Cliff and also the others in the band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48pm Jan Turkenburg:

Hi everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Mr Fab - naughty corner for me! Do I get a special pass because it's such a good record tho? :-D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Hi Jan! :-)
Avatar 1:49pm Martinibomb:

Hi Jan. Hope you're okay.
Avatar 1:50pm Mr Fab:

heck, yeah, I love Johnny & The Hurricanes. And apparently they used to play Hamburg, where th Beatles opened for THEM. so there ya go.
Avatar 1:51pm Mr Fab:

Hi Jan! interesting Martinibomb, there's only one original member of the Ventures still alive, and he's retired. So i wonder if those are the Ventures' actual guitars.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

It's not that big an area of London but it certainly feels like it when you're trying to find Frith Street from Leicester square tube station and you keep getting bloody lost! Ha! ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm Jan Turkenburg:

Yes, it was a rough week, But the cats are in the clear now. One of them probably had a heart small attack recently. They let me hear his heart and asked if the interns could have a listen as well. It was a rare kind of heart rhythm (like all over the place..) but it doesn;t seem to bother the little old man, so... steady as she goes :-)
Avatar 1:54pm Martinibomb:

@Fab yup it's just going to be Don Wilson. Says he's selling off the Ventures guitar/gear collection tomorrow plus signing autographs/taking photos etc.. it's at a friend of mine's guitar shop which luckily just a few blocks from my house and The Ventures were probably the first thing I was interested in music wise as a kid
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Huge hugs, Jan. Glad the kitties are ok!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55pm Jan Turkenburg:

So now we can mourn about little Jopie....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

:-(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Jan Turkenburg:

It's quiet without his little tip toes on the wooden floor
Avatar 1:56pm Martinibomb:

So sorry about your little guy. Wish I could have met him.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:57pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I'm so sorry :-(
Avatar 1:57pm Martinibomb:

I know the quiet feeling. Lost our 18yr old pug last year.. and that was the thing that got me was the quiet in the house.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Same when we lost our Cleo seven years ago. Not hearing her pad across the floors at night was the hardest :-(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58pm Jan Turkenburg:

Joop was a funny little character. Not very social AT ALL, a loner, but not agressive, kids could do anything with him. He didn't mind.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

He sounds like a complete sweetie
Avatar 2:00pm Martinibomb:

I think I tend to like dogs/animals more than people. I still have a hard time even a year later missing my buddy and sounds like GG it's the same.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00pm Otis Fodder:

Best wishes Jan. Sending good thoughts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:04pm Webhamster Henry:

Got any of those Vienna wafers around? In Vienna, we'd just eat Mozartkugeln.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:04pm Jan Turkenburg:

drive.google.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:05pm Rich in Washington:

Sorry about your kitty pals, Jan! Hope everyone gets better!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Oh, his little face <3 How did he become part of your family?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm Rich in Washington:

Whenever I think of the Savile affair and Yew Tree, I cannot help think of Chris Morris' Paedogeddon Brass Eye special.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Rich - talk about Chris Morris having second sight, eh?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm Rich in Washington:

He's brilliant. We have no one like him in the US.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm Jan Turkenburg:

long story. He was the odd looking one in a nest of dachshunds, that stole Willeke's heart. She wanted our other dog to have a companion. And... well.... all of the sudden from one we had five pets ... Willeke's gone now and I have two of those pets left.
Avatar 2:10pm Martinibomb:

I worship Chris Morris
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

It's rumoured that he had a breakdown after Peter Cook died :-( Hence why his work got REALLY dark.
Avatar 2:11pm Martinibomb:

Oh that totally makes sense! Peter cook is the other guy I totally worship.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Whenever we lose someone we love (and that includes furry someones) it always reopens the wounds from the times we lost other people we love :-(
We're all here for you, Jan. <3
Avatar 2:12pm Martinibomb:

Joop is such a cutie!! what a character.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm Jan Turkenburg:

I know, Georgy :-) <3
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Listening to early rock and roll makes you wish you had a time machine so you could go back and buy shares in twangy guitars ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm Rich in Washington:

That's so true, GeorgyGirl!
Avatar 2:20pm Mr Fab:

"Winklepicker Stomp" - that sounds painful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I'm in an airing cupboard, there are no windows! The lack of air was clearly getting to me ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:21pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Mr Fab - now you come to mention it ... OW!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22pm Rich in Washington:

My studio is facing our rural gravel road. It gets the worst of the dust. I always have a drink of some kind nearby. I DO need to install a real cough button, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I've just posted a full episode of "Oh Boy!" on the Sheena Facebook group :-)
www.facebook.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I swear one day I'm going to make at least one unfortunate noise if not several on the mic ...
Avatar 2:23pm Martinibomb:

@Rich I'm also on a dirt road/unimproved I grew a bunch of fruit trees in front and it cuts the dust down
Avatar 2:24pm Martinibomb:

@GG just so you know you can't watch Oh Boy from the US they have it blocked. I used a VPN so it looks like I'm coming from the UK.
Avatar 2:24pm Mr Fab:

Don't worry GG - Sheena's an entire channel of unfortunate noises!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:26pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@MB - someone posted the best ever comment about geographical restrictions on YouTube. Can' even remember what I was watching but it was fairly innocuous. Anyway, this one chap said he'd had a notice that "You are unable to watch this clip where you live"
And he replied in the comments - Why???? Do I live in fucking Narnia???
GENIUS.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

"Sheena's Jungle Room on WFMU - an entire channel of unfortunate noises"
I like it! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm Jan Turkenburg:

LOL!
Avatar 2:27pm Martinibomb:

hahaha that's awesome
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I talk about this Tornados guitar sound in the next break -in a Scottish way ;-)
Avatar 2:29pm Mr Fab:

is this a Joe Meek production?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm Rich in Washington:

This bears the unmistakable thumbprint of Joe Meek.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Mr Fab - it certainly is :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm Rich in Washington:

So love The Tornados. It's the first instance I can remember as a very young child really noticing how peculiar Telstar was and that I loved it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

That buzzy waspy sound of whatever instrument that is - says "Britain" to me like no other instrument. I can't explain it.
Avatar 2:31pm recordrouletteclub:

THIS SONG IS COOL!! Thanks for introducing me to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Hey Danny! :-) I'm glad you like it! :-)
Avatar 2:32pm recordrouletteclub:

Neat bass line too!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

It's tat evocative thing of a certain era of song, a certain soundscape, and I can see my nan's living room.
Avatar 2:32pm Mr Fab:

Wot Danny sed; that was frikkin ace!
Avatar 2:34pm recordrouletteclub:

Question: Can you insert photos into each playlist on here??
I've never tried.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Otis has been putting the album covers up on the playlist
Avatar 2:37pm Mr Fab:

yes, you can Danny. Rich adds photos as well. There's even a way to add pics to each track on the playlist, that is, after song title, artist name, album title, you can add a pic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm joe:

'ello folks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm Rich in Washington:

recordrouletteclub: You can. You must enable HTML in fields in your playlist.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Hello Joe! :-)
Avatar 2:38pm recordrouletteclub:

Thanks Rich and Fab!! Or is it Fab and Rich?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm Rich in Washington:

Rich and Fab sounds like a UK reality TV show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

That Cilla clip is going up on the Sheena group in about ten minutes :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:42pm Rich in Washington:

I've never heard the original of this song! I'm mainly familiar with the Motorhead/Girlschool cover.
Avatar 2:43pm recordrouletteclub:

Me too, I only ever knew the MOTORHEAD version!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43pm joe:

I know of someone doing a cover of this (besides Motorhead/Girlschool) and for the lie of me I can't remember who.
Avatar 2:43pm Mr Fab:

I love any take on "Please Don't Touch." Stray Cats did a nice version too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44pm joe:

THAT"S IT
Thank you Mr. Fab
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44pm Rich in Washington:

It's a great song. Nice to finally hear the original.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Am I imagining it, or did I see somewhere that The Stray Cats are touring again?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:45pm joe:

@DJ GeorgyGirl yup and a new album
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:45pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

I am genuinely happy that so many of these tracks are bringing you joy :-)
Avatar 2:45pm Mr Fab:

Couldn't believe it but, yep they toured late last year. THEN Brian Setzer did his Christmas solo tour. Busy man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@joe - a new album as well? Ooo! I shall have to look out for both of those! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm joe:

I've tickets for a couple of festivals that have not announced their line ups yet and both usally get one reunion band. I have fingers crossed as I never got to see them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:47pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Fingers crossed for you! :-)
Avatar 2:47pm Mr Fab:

The Fab family did indeed dig the Setzer Orch xmas show last Dec.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Mr fab - I bet that was brilliant :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm joe:

Setzers Christmas show is a lot of fun I've seen a couple of times. He does a a little 3 man Rockabilly greats/Straycats section in the middle of hte show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

Otis is up next with three fabulous hours of "Friendly Persuasion" - stick around for him! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm Rich in Washington:

Great show, DJ GeorgyGirl! Really fun!
Avatar 2:53pm recordrouletteclub:

Yeah!! Great show!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:54pm DJ GeorgyGirl:

At the start of this break I dropped my notes and couldn't be bothered to pick them up. This is all panic-induced JUST KEEP TALKING. lol. ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:54pm DJ GeorgyGirl:
