Hey Jan... Hey Mr F!
Avatar 2:09pm Mr Fab:

I first heard Elvis' "Old MacDonald" on one of the all-time great bootlegs, "Elvis Greatest Shit."
Avatar 2:09pm Martinibomb:

I guess I've had enough of the Barr interview today. Time for The World Worst Records with Darryl!
Avatar 2:10pm Martinibomb:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Rich in Washington:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm Jan Turkenburg:

I can't get enough of this song!
Avatar 2:27pm worldsworstrecords:

It's a classic
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm Jan Turkenburg:

It's better than the movies!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm Rich in Washington:

This is more accurate than the Peter Jackson movies.
Avatar 2:27pm worldsworstrecords:

...and the film clip is insane
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm Rich in Washington:

Jan, what is that instrument?
Avatar 2:28pm worldsworstrecords:

It'll be interesting to see what Jackson does with Let It be
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm Jan Turkenburg:

I think it's a bass bassoon
Avatar 2:29pm worldsworstrecords:

yes, I thought Bassoon
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm Jan Turkenburg:

or just an ordinary bassoon
Avatar 2:29pm worldsworstrecords:

I hate everything about this record
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm Rich in Washington:

Thank you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm Rich in Washington:

I like to think that the Cohen Bros. based the assassin from No Country For Old Men on Bobby Goldsboro.
Avatar 2:31pm worldsworstrecords:

hahahaha... maybe they did
Avatar 2:35pm Martinibomb:

Wow Hot boy is truly terrible
Avatar 2:36pm worldsworstrecords:

Thanks MB!
Avatar 2:37pm Mr Fab:

swimming somewhere in the Sheena stream is Mel Torme's groovy swingin take on Stevie Wonder's "Superstition."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm Rich in Washington:

Oh man!
Avatar 2:37pm worldsworstrecords:

I'll have to listen to that, Mr F
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm Rich in Washington:

I was thinking this was Fred Travalena as Carol Channing, but it's actually Carol Channing.
Avatar 2:38pm worldsworstrecords:

yep, the real deal
Avatar 2:38pm worldsworstrecords:

The whole album is outrageously awful
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38pm Rich in Washington:

This is pure uncut horribleness!
Avatar 2:39pm worldsworstrecords:

Thank you!
Avatar 2:40pm Martinibomb:

oh my gaaaawd ug
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm Rich in Washington:

You're killing us, worldsworstrecords!
Avatar 2:40pm worldsworstrecords:

You like?
Avatar 2:41pm worldsworstrecords:

yay!
Avatar 2:41pm Martinibomb:

It doesn't get any worse than this
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41pm Rich in Washington:

It's horrid! I love it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:42pm Rich in Washington:

Columbine Records is just pure plutonium.
Avatar 2:42pm Martinibomb:

I wish I'd had this record years ago. Perfect for clearing a crowd which sometimes you neeed to do as a DJ
Avatar 2:42pm worldsworstrecords:

Just wonderful. That and Halmark are my favourite song-poem companies
Avatar 2:43pm Martinibomb:

People don't realize that bad songs save lives. If you put something horrid on people stop drinking. Good way to help people get home safely.
Avatar 2:44pm worldsworstrecords:

It's true. I consider my life a public service
Avatar 2:44pm Martinibomb:

The not in time green tambourine lol
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm Rich in Washington:

DEATH DISC!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm Rich in Washington:

I hope this ends like Death Dream, aka Dead of Night - the best ever Vietnam era horror film.
Avatar 2:48pm Mr Fab:

Probly the first song-poem record i bought (before I knew what a song-poem was) was one of Columbine's albums "The Now Sounds Of Today". I just loved the redundant redundancy of the title.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm Jan Turkenburg:

I think I now can confess that in the firsat episode I heard The dentist of the week" thinking: "wow, are there THAT many singing dentists???"
Avatar 2:49pm worldsworstrecords:

haha! Dentist Of the Week... I'm going to make that a thing
Avatar 2:49pm Mr Fab:

jan: I really did LOL out loud at that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm Rich in Washington:

There probably are some really horrible records put out by dentists. I think my dentist in my hometown was in a barbershop quartet.
Avatar 2:54pm worldsworstrecords:

Can't believe we're almost at the end of the show, just one more song after this
Avatar 2:57pm Mr Fab:

...and his barber was in a dentists' quartet! But seriously, folks...
Avatar 2:57pm worldsworstrecords:

You would have to assume that the squeaky vocalists did not have access to the correct lyrics
Avatar 2:58pm worldsworstrecords:

Well, thank you for your company everyone, and don't forget it Georgy up next
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Jan Turkenburg:

Thanks MB, really enjoyed this again!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Rich in Washington:

Great terrible music today, worldsworstrecords! Thanks so much!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Jan Turkenburg:

Avatar 3:00pm worldsworstrecords:

Cheers all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00pm Jan Turkenburg:
