hey dave & all, not listening yet -- drinking wine with the family. is the gambia sign a reference to the wfmu pledge software's inability to handle the exotic country of germany?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:25pm Michael 98145:

{ probably blame that on Windows }
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Webhamster Henry:

I get strangers ask me (especially the classic [ok, only a few years old]) about the woofmoo shirt). I turned two cashiers onto woofmoo b/c of it...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:35pm chris:

there must be a Malian proverb that says something like, you can't go wrong listening to a Touré
Swag For Life Member 5:37pm Tamar:

Hello, ngh!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40pm chris:

i love having conversations with folks who ask about a woofmoo t-shirt i'm wearing. every once in a while, it sparks great dialog of shared record finds and interests. hopefully, more often than not, it gets someone to tune in. of course, the best, is the knowing nod of a fellow listener.
Avatar 5:43pm northguineahills:

holas, Tamar!
Avatar 5:44pm northguineahills:

This is so much more fun then the L train....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:44pm Michael 98145:

i'm just happy to encounter anyone who listens to -any- music ...
Avatar 5:45pm northguineahills:

(which would be my comment if I could afford to pledge this year).

And what Michael said: (I'll talk to my brother about Bruno Mars and bro country just b/c, in his 30s, it's the first time he's listened to music).
Avatar 5:48pm northguineahills:

I had a friend (who's a musician and fan of wfmu), asked me if my whole wardrobe is wfmu shirts, I replied, "more then half").
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:50pm Webhamster Henry:

Swag For Life Member 6:26pm Tamar:

Avatar 6:29pm northguineahills:

There's a NYC Parks "Naturewalk" around the perimeter of the largest sewage plant in NYC on the Newtown Creek (and Whale Creek), I used to go there in the winter to make field recordings, get the crunching of the snow, the roar of the sewage treatment plant, boat traffic, and the machinery across the creek of the junkyard in Sunnyside/Astoria, Queens....
Swag For Life Member 6:32pm Tamar:

Very cool, ngh. i got to take a tour of the sewage plant eggs.
Avatar 6:37pm northguineahills:
