Todd thanks for the sad news about Skip and Yesterday & Today Records. I lived on a farm in Carroll County MD and they were an essential link to underground music for me. My most memorable experience there was unfortunately a double dis: I walked up the the counter w the Moving Sidewalks LP and the guy started to tell me how Billy Gibbons was one of Hendrix' favorite guitar players and I was like yeah I know, whatever. Then I noticed he looked familiar and I said, "Didn't you used to be in a hardcore band?" He kinda looked down and didn't say anything. 5 minutes later after I had pulled out onto Rockville Pike I realized he was...Ian McKaye. Oops.
