Rachel it’s not easy, yet it normally starts with the loss of a pet. The way a parent explains is very dependent on your thoughts of afterlife. Most parents tell children they will be with a god as god needed their love or something similar. I told my son and other young relatives that the lost life is still with us yet in a different form.

Two of today's artists force me to again brag of my great concert fortune. Very first was Cars and XTC 12/80 at The Garden. Cars great sound but inert presence while XTC bounced all over the stage. 1.5 years later Andy played his last live show. Then 1/83 John Cale at The Bottom Line with then unknown Violent Femmes. Won't mention also getting to see R.E.M. as last minute openers for The English Beat and Squeeze 11/82 Nassau Coliseum.
