  3:02pm thor83:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Hello, anybody answering?
Avatar 3:03pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

I think that's Jim Price's one minute show.
  3:03pm Pas Musique:

Hey hey hey folks and chickens.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:04pm fred:

Good afternoon Scott and listeners
  3:04pm Pas Musique:

So what do you think would be the official fruit of the Scott Williams show?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:06pm Krys O.:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:06pm mcgreivey:

Hey, I thought I'd be able to post on Jim Price's page. His show is still on. What gives?!?!?
Avatar 3:07pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

@Pas M-I would think a banana, the Velvet Underground Banana.
Moon Duo reminds me of Massive Attack.
Avatar 3:07pm Bas NL:

Hi Scott & friends!
  3:07pm John from Florham Park:

Hello fellow WFMU listeners
Avatar 3:08pm βrian:

Well, this is nice.
  3:10pm Pas Musique:

Maybe a florescent green banana. : )
Avatar 3:10pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

This is like if Cowboy Junkies only did instrumentals as Acid Jazz.
  3:12pm SeanG:

gorgeous, just gorgeous
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm Scott Williams:

Hello and welcome everyone! Let's call this show a pomegranate; it's kind of a pain in the ass and leaves stones in your teeth, but it's delicious in tiny nuggets, if you put in the work
Avatar 3:16pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

Its 55, but I am going snowboarding tonight. Wish me luck. Will try intermediate slope for first time in 35 years.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm Mark Hurst:

You're amazing.
  3:17pm Martinibomb:

Hi Scott & WFMU listeners.
Avatar 3:17pm βrian:

But if you eat of the pomegranate, you will have to periodically return to the underworld, remember.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm The Oscar:

That segue was PHENOMENAL.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm Carmichael:

Heya Scotty and rockers.
Avatar 3:19pm Bas NL:

I thought i was listening to People Like Us!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm Carmichael:

This music is jaunty.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm Scott Williams:

Hi Mark! See you at shift change, buddy. @βrian, no problems there! @The Oscar, thank ye!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm Parq:

Couldn't think of any lyrics, huh?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm The Oscar:

Also I had no idea that song had a title that wasn't "Tro Lo Lo."
Avatar 3:20pm βrian:

I can imagine this guy in a Russian re-make of Oklahoma.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm Phillippe Bastille:

Hi everyone
  3:21pm Pas Musique:

pomegranate......underworld......Scott rules the underworld!
  3:22pm Marie:

I thought it was Shooby (Shoobie?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm Parq:

Would "Russian Remake of Oklahoma" be a good name for a band? I think we should at least consider it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm fleep:

Avatar 3:30pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

Oklahoma has one cool place: Tulsa. Oh, and the world's largest privately owned gun museum in Claremore.
  3:30pm chresti:

Hello Scott and fans of Scott from the Los Angeles halls of justice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm fred:

That's a fave PiL cut of mine
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm Guido from Cologne:

I think "Keep Banging The Door" is the groundbreaking track on "Flowers Of Romance"
Avatar 3:31pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

I used to have Metal Box. No longer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Barney Grubbs:

the tsarists and the bolsheviks should be friends
Avatar 3:32pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Who has pomegranate cake?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Ken From Hyde Park:

A portrait of my maternal grandfather hangs at the National Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma city. He was a regionally-known horse trader in the '20s & '30s. I need to go there some time to see it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm Scott Williams:

Oklahoma has a great band (Debris'), and I hear the NWS weather station there is pretty amazing. Oh, and S.E. Hinton. What else?
  3:34pm chresti:

On lunch break, sounds good, wish I could listen while in the courtroom. Is there a WFMU chip to plant in my ears for inconspicuous listening?
  3:35pm John from Florham Park:

@scott there is a station from Oklahoma City called the Katt which is a very good station
Avatar 3:40pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

Oklahhoma is very very very very very very very boring to drive across.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm Stanley:

Time to do the washing up
  3:40pm Marie:

SCOTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally digging your show, man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm Scott Williams:

thanks Marie!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm Carmichael:

@chresti, you got jury duty? I have it next week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm mcgreivey:

Flowers of Romance is one of my fave records. I used to take my FoR cassette with me to electronics stores to test stereo equipment and to test the annoying salesmen. Yes, I was young and subversive. I would have taken my Flipper records with me, too, but I didn't have them on cassette. But they wouldn't have had the thump factor of FoR, anyway; just the annoyance factor.
Avatar 3:45pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

It takes 41 hour of driving to go from Ridgecrest CA, to Atlantic City, NJ. Several of those hours go to Oklahoma.
Avatar 3:46pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

I would LOVE to have Jury Duty. Look up Jury Nullification, I want to do that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm Greg from ZONE 5:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm mcgreivey:

@Scott, Russian schlager reminds me--I've been meaning to convey to you the Russian-language version of "Blue Moon": Луна. Or maybe i should make that Луна́, to distinguish its pronunciation from that of the band Luna.
Avatar 3:59pm mb:

Hello Scott and all of thee above
Avatar 3:59pm TDK60:

Heyho Scott and freeformers.
Avatar 4:03pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...however effed up any / all is...there is still the joy of JazzDrummers...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm The Oscar:

Thought this was the Liquid Sky soundtrack at first. Don't know Slime City, but I'm intrigued.
Avatar 4:04pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& Fripperfied Gittarists...& stuff...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm mcgreivey:

Just looked for that old Russian Blue Moon on YouTube, and it's not there (no surprise), but I found another Russian version which is further evidence that Russians can't swing (at least not musically). Search for "Луна / Blue Moon" by Blackberry Jam. The female singer swings a liiiittle, but the band swings pretty much just like a dead dog rolling down the stairs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm steveo:

going to slime city, gonna have some fun
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:05pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Happy "Year of the Pig"!
