i saw this show once where theyshowed how in Japan they hang picked persimmons and then massage them every day for a couple months and supposedly when you finally eat them they're delicious. (i believe it)

Long ago - in an online community of GaragePsych enthusiasts. One member asserted how great the Wailers of WA. state were - & how bad the Wailers of Jamaica & Reggae were. But we know that Ska like this is actually a perfect correlate of U.S. Garage in its' way...
