Silent weed wackers?
Avatar 6:24pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Watching my video of me doing the show is like a ghost player piano (see Haunted Mansion music, earlier)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:25pm Webhamster Henry:

You just check them out, wack the weeds, check them back in. Not to be confused with the seed library.

Avatar 6:25pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Excellent
Avatar 6:25pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Seeds check out but they don't check in?
Avatar 6:27pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

melinda in c.1990 i spent one of a 3 week camping trip in plainfield helping someone set up the general store they'd bought. it was off ski season and i really liked vermont and the people who came into the store.

A friend of mine is President of Emily Carr U. in Vancouver.
  6:30pm Rich in Washington:

sometimes one just randomly hears what they really need to hear in the moment. That is wonderful.
Avatar 6:30pm ifny:

Gosh I 'm having trouble keeping my lunch down all of a sudden.
Avatar 6:31pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@Rich Yeah, did it just happen? Always my favorite thing with call ins. Didn't notice one this time. Oh unless....
Avatar 6:32pm ifny:

@Webhamster Henry That wasn't in reference to your friend, certainly! You are talking about Gillian?
Avatar 6:33pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Hello to friendly listeners who are texting, online messaging, listening quietly, listening two days ago, listening in the future, listening in between
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34pm Webhamster Henry:

Yep. @ifny She uses software I wrote in her research and music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:35pm Webhamster Henry:

Hello, Fed Lurkers!
Avatar 6:35pm ifny:

Oh cool. I don't know her personally but I'm friends with some faculty thataway. She might know my work, I co-founded Free Geek. It really is a teensy weensy weenie world.
Avatar 6:36pm ifny:

And I run with the NOW Music Society when I have the time.

@WH Henry wow, just peeked at your 'MU profile page. Thanks for helping serve WFMU up on a 'netty platter!!!
Avatar 6:38pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Almost played Art Garfunkel from Carnal Knowledge
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38pm Webhamster Henry:

@ifny That's fun! I know nothing about Vancouver! I'm more Montreally when I jump the border.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm Webhamster Henry:

@ifny Kenzo did most of what you re looking at now, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm melinda:

@Rabbit agreed about Dartmouth but I liked seeing interesting films and art exhibits.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm Webhamster Henry:

I'm always thinking of reviving the WFMU gopherspace somewhere.
Avatar 6:40pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

How to Get Ahead in Advertising was a crazy crazy film
Avatar 6:40pm ifny:

Then thank you Kenzo as well 8)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm Gary:

Howdies
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42pm Webhamster Henry:

There a scene in How To Get A Head ... where his boss is talking on a wireless phone that was surreal back then, common now!
Avatar 6:42pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Hi Gary. I will not apologize for who I am
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43pm melinda:

@coel Plainfield is an interesting town, the presence of Goddard Collage has had an effect. WGDR was the first free form station I really got into, reception was iffy with the mountainous terrain but being rural and isolated gave me the focus and attention to stick out the parts I didn't like.
Avatar 6:44pm ifny:

This playlist alone is a full-time endeavour. Crikey.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45pm melinda:

College, not collage. Flakey am I.
Avatar 6:45pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@Henry It's still surreal
Avatar 6:45pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@ifny Oh yeah I made this robotic apparatus
Avatar 6:46pm ifny:

I too am resplendent with mountainous terrain and ifny reception.
Avatar 6:46pm ifny:

@Kenzo the Canadarm?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm Rand al'Thor:

Man, now I want to get back to work on my own sound collages.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm melinda:

I remember when I was little getting separated from my mom in a shopping mall and hearing this song, it seemed appropriate.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:48pm Webhamster Henry:

Autoharp alert!
Avatar 6:50pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

I would start a sound collage only radio channel
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50pm melinda:

@Henry right? I wonder how many other 70s pop hits featured autoharp.
  6:51pm Rich in Washington:

that would be fantastic, Kenzo!
Avatar 6:51pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Whooooooops ending soon. That was fast/long
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52pm Rand al'Thor:

I just started my last sound collage of the year. Put down some loops before heading out to work. Got about five minutes of stuff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52pm Rand al'Thor:

Working on that while also doing a Christmas project for my podcast.
  6:53pm Rich in Washington:

I need to get more in a collage mindset. I seem to be drifting away from it. it's scary. it's like a trapeze act.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54pm Rand al'Thor:

Thanks for the show, Kenzo. I loved it.
Avatar 6:55pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Ugh those interruptions aren't supposed to be in the ending
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm melinda:

Thanks Ken!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm Webhamster Henry:

Ken haz a sad.
Avatar 6:56pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Freakin' robot pre-programmed overlap. Forgot to leave 10 seconds of silence to prevent that
  6:56pm Rich in Washington:

thanks, Kenzo!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56pm chresti:

no sads only glads
Avatar 6:57pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Oh no of course not never sad
Avatar 6:57pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

I got away from pure collage in 2000 and it was a bad year. 2001 and it all came back
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm coelacanth∅:

melinda, a lot of bikers. friendly bikers!
Avatar 6:59pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Thanks I love you all, even everyone else too. Really. Come back and get it again anytime 'cause that was it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:00pm coelacanth∅:

Thanks Kenzo
Avatar 7:00pm ifny:

@Kenzo I would dig a collage-only radio channel. And I'm certain I'm not alone. Other than the usual aloneness of all of us, all the time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:00pm chresti:

Thanks Kenzo! I'm perplexed and confused
Avatar 7:00pm ifny:

Bai all!
Avatar 7:00pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

We're always alonetogether
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:01pm Webhamster Henry:

Hear you next time! Now it's Bodega time!
Avatar 7:01pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:03pm Webhamster Henry:
