Good evening Jeff
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11am PMD:

Very reminiscent of Michael Hedges!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12am PMD:

Darn. Thought I was going to be #1. Hi Jeff...

loving this track... perfect for right now
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29am Granny Spicy Tuna:

yes this is lovely
  12:29am rw:

Evening! Fripp and Eno seems like an odd choice for Avant G. Not complaining or saying it doesn't fit. Just unexpected. Hope everyone's doing well.
Avatar 12:30am Jeff Conklin:

I was waiting for someone to say the Durutti Column was weird, shows what I know....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34am TomDash:

Mornin' Jeff - LOVE Fripp and Eno so much. Bought a bootleg tape in High School of what I found out was one of their only live outings in Paris...wish I still had that tape. I guess it was booted on vinyl too at some point?
Avatar 12:35am Jeff Conklin:

Dunno if there's a vinyl boot but its definitely online
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36am Ike:

Excellent sounds!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36am TomDash:

Thanks, will do some investigating!

The archive for this first hour will be a go to soundtrack if I can ever get myself to do yoga. Great show tonight!
  12:47am Sam:

Have a good week everybody
Avatar 12:48am Jeff Conklin:

I should offer services to yoga studios to make them mixes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53am TomDash:

Loving the spatial guitar-scapes in this first set. Gotta hit the hay, but ready to revisit on the archives tomorrow...g'night y'all...
  12:56am rw:

Good night TomD!
  12:57am rw:

Yoga mixes!
  12:58am rw:

JC, if you did yoga mixes I might do yoga.
  12:59am Chris H:

Can’t think of a better post-YLT show soundtrack as I hoof it back to the PATH
  12:59am katharsis:

Remember before there was music at yoga classes? Remember when I went to yoga classes?
  1:05am P-90:

Always up for a Fripp Story
  1:07am P-90:

“Insufferable beardos”
  1:07am Mia:

Great show...so good. Loving the stories..."bierdos"??? Still laughing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08am Ken From Hyde Park:

Namaste, DJ JC. How are things tonight?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09am brycepunk1:

Loved the story.. Love the show. Well done, sir!
  1:09am MONEYBAG$:

you got Fripped
  1:10am P-90:

personae non grata
  1:11am rw:

Laughing out loud here. Great story. I had the opposite experience once at a small Fred Frith show. Fred played along with my friend and I kicking our plastic cups over. Used it as a jumping off point to shift the music around.
  1:11am tak:

woah hey another one!
Avatar 1:11am Jeff Conklin:

You know, chin-stroking pseudo-intellectuals into "Experimental" music
  1:13am MONEYBAG$:

I've seen Bobby twice at this venue in 2018 and both times there was a snowstorm. This show too, I think
  1:13am Mia:

I once had a coughing fit at a solo flute recital (James Galway) at Carnegie Hall...I was in the middle of the row. It was a long, humiliating escape...still cringing from that one.
  1:15am Chris H:

I will never tire of the Fripp story
Avatar 1:15am Jeff Conklin:

@Chris H: Have I told it here before??
  1:17am PNW THC:

i was just playing this on my guitar about 20 minutes ago
  1:18am rw:

Jeff, yes, you've told it here. I can't remember how long ago. It's a good one. Bears repeating.

Once you've opened the Doritos bag how can you not eat a chip?
Avatar 1:20am Franco Twinkie:

That's a good one Jeff! I had a similar thing happen at McCabes in Santa Monica, when a friend and myself went to see Tom Verlaine. McCabes only serves tea and coffee. We snuck in some tall boys which we cracked at the exact right/wrong moment. You'de think we farted in church the way the crowd reacted. But, unlike Mr. Fripp, Tom didn't seem overly put out. Plus he doesn't do Q&A's
  1:21am rw:

Franco, they were just jealous.
  1:26am tak:

just got a work email saying "Dear ok"
  1:27am Justin:

Ah... Billy by himself!! **chef's kiss**
  1:27am daniel:

Jeff, after several years of catching the your show on west coast time, stoked to be hearing your dead picks while safely within the confines of the garden state
Avatar 1:29am Jeff Conklin:

I would think this show sounds better out west though
  1:31am MONEYBAG$:

your mind is about to leave your body
  1:35am daniel:

Not sure it sounded any better, but there was surely something magical about being able to listen to the show from until midnight and still get a full night’s sleep before any real obligations :). I’ll be paying for this one at work tomorrow, but I’d been missing the ritual of this show. Cheers and glad the 3-hour show has been restored along with the dead sets
Avatar 1:36am Jeff Conklin:

@Mia: That's rough. Yet another reason to never attend a solo flute performance ;)
Avatar 1:37am Jeff Conklin:

@Daniel: Right on, I guess it's just because i hate the NYC metropolitan area I say these things. This show is my weekly escape to open spaces...
Avatar 1:43am Franco Twinkie:

My Sunday treat: Borrow mom's car ( Unlike my truck, the CD player works) Drive around and listen to Clementine Jam all afternoon.
  1:48am PNW THC:

phil just talkin dirty here aaaaw yeah
Avatar 1:48am Jeff Conklin:

Make sure to fill up mom's car before you return it...
  1:51am daniel:

Damn, never realized that the mind left body jam sounds vaguely like phish’s “waste”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58am Hugo (NL):

good morning!
  2:00am PNW THC:

on the west coast here, it's not too late man. and as you're saying this, i just heard wet tuna for the first time recently on one of your shows. i dig them. i'm new to "new" jam bands post- gd
  2:00am Justin:

Nice history of Mind Left Body:
  2:01am katharsis:

Someone has to behave differently in a theater. It’s a requirement.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02am pavlovsfrog:

take all my money wet tuna
Avatar 2:03am Jeff Conklin:

Get it! wettuna.blogspot.com
  2:08am rw:

Still here but fading fast. Jeff, I remember you had a good raccoon story too! Don’t remember the details. Raccoon got in the house or something. Thanks again for the Sunday night excursion. Good night everyone!
Avatar 2:08am Jeff Conklin:

What's cool about WT (and a lot of modern bands I'm fond of) is that they draw from a very different well of influences beyond the GD. As a rule, modern jambands are awful
2:11am Adam roughing it in michigan:

awesome show , good to listen live , wife and i regular archive listeners , thanks Jeff
Avatar 2:20am Jeff Conklin:

Right on, Adam
  2:36am Bob O:

is this playlist in real time or do you "get ahead" of the current song that's playing? . I loved that last piece by
