Frozen cocoon, on a stick or in a cone?
Avatar 3:10am sv:

waffle cone dipped in ashes!
Avatar 3:24am sv:

is there anything spookier than a tarp fluttering over a dumpster in an empty lot at 3am
Avatar 3:25am Diezel Tea:

Yeah, if there's dry ice inside the dumpster.
Avatar 3:26am sv:

i hadn't thought of that and now i have something new to add to my dreams' most haunted corners
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27am Vincent Nifigance:

...and the disembodied voices of singing children.
Avatar 3:29am sv:

disembodied voices do have some scaring power, i'll admit that
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31am Vincent Nifigance:

Dismembered people's voices too.
Avatar 3:33am Diezel Tea:

Disgruntled vermin could be tossed in there as well.
Avatar 3:39am sv:

much prefer gruntled vermin
Avatar 3:53am Diezel Tea:

Play some Odz Manouk! The only Armenian Black Metal band worth listening to, hehe.
Avatar 3:57am sv:

i came across odz manouk doing some discogs digging this week but haven't heard any of their stuff - what do you recommend?
  4:03am jasper:

@sv: you're playing this power noise and hardness and you're letting the dumpster out back spook you? ;) Be a good dj and hang a mic out the window and get some of that cold, creepy flutter into the mix. It's only the spirit of old and broken studio gear on its way to purgatory.
Avatar 4:05am sv:

you make a good point, jasper - advice taken!
Avatar 4:09am dan in wisconsin:

DcD! Haven't heard them played on WFMU for a quite some time...
  4:09am jasper:

Wow! Early DCD. Lovely... I mean lonely.
Avatar 4:14am sv:

i used to see DCD mentioned a lot more in press and reviews and such, their name doesn't come up too often these days it seems
Avatar 4:14am B/wad:

Tel Aviv is listening <3
Avatar 4:16am sv:

welcome, @B/wad \m/ how's the weather?
Avatar 4:25am Schlockmaster:

Hey SV,
You seem to be the first real ERSATZ for our late, beloved und bemourned Wm. Berger!
Keep it going!
You need to be on the netwaves each week!
Avatar 4:28am sv:

@schlockmaster many thanks for tuning in! i can't promise that my show will always be a survey of extreme metal but it's certainly where my head's been at for a little while now.
  4:33am jasper:

It doesn't help that DCD have only put out 2 albums since 1996. I think the individual members have stayed busy though. They just put out their last album, 'Dionysus' this month. Just took a quick listen on YT and it's not bad but not particularly interesting.
Avatar 4:37am sv:

2 albums in 22 years is not the best PR plan, i'll give you that
Avatar 4:38am dan in wisconsin:

Agreed, Jasper. I think that 'Spiritchaser' was their most compelling and cohesive latest album. 'Anastasis' did have some good tracks on it though.
Avatar 4:40am dan in wisconsin:

I still need to give 'Dionysus' another listen. Only checked it out on youtube so far as well...
Avatar 4:40am B/wad:

Hallo sv,
Weather is late morning long-sleeves and sunny. Really enjoying this shit. Gonna talk you in my earphones on a walk through the market.
Avatar 4:41am sv:

@b/wad amazing - enjoy the day, my friend
Avatar 4:42am Diezel Tea:

@SV I was at lunch. Their split with Tukaaria has the best recording quality, and some deep riffing.
Avatar 4:44am sv:

@diezel Tea dope, i'ma have to check that one out
  4:46am vanya moscow:

Wow, a new show, right? Hi, everyone!
Avatar 4:48am sv:

new is right! hey there, vanya - pleased to have ya here
Avatar 4:56am Diezel Tea:

Any news on when the FMA can be uploaded to again? It seems like it's been weeks since uploading became disabled.
Avatar 4:59am ben abs:

@Diezel Tea, pitchfork.com... Sad News.
