Love this cover
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm doctorjazz:

Know it from the Muppets, cool to hear a cover.
  12:27pm Websie:

btw re the songwriter...

Avatar 12:27pm Roberto:

I saw the Muppet Movie during its original release in '79. It started out so promisingly then fell flat for me somewhere in the middle. I'd like to give it another viewing to see if my initial thinking was correct.
Avatar 12:29pm Roberto:

Unfortunately my kids are already too old for me to force it on them so I'd have to watch it alone.
  12:30pm melinda:

I didn't know about the Paul Williams- Muppet movie connection until a few years ago.
Avatar 12:33pm Roberto:

Someday we'll find it, the Paul Williams-Muppet Movie connection.
  12:34pm fletchernyc:

Hey Pseu !! Hey y’all!
  12:36pm melinda:

@Roberto haha
  12:37pm melinda:

It's ok to watch the Muppet Movie alone.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Phillippe Bastille:

Hi Pseu and everyone!
Avatar 12:41pm Roberto:

Thanks Melinda, I'll add it to the long list of all the things I've been meaning to do since 1979.
  12:42pm Itzall Ablurr:

Oh man. I'm fully expecting at least ONE ball 'o dead rat when I get home this evening. Cool temps and they like my garage but I do NOT play!!!
Avatar 12:44pm Roberto:

Wow, I would have thought Ty was a lot older, only because it seems like he's already been around a long time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm Itzall Ablurr:

OK, I worked the math problem and now I'm signed in. Congratz, ME! Hi Pseu, hope you are doing OK today.

Avatar 12:53pm Pseu Braun:

ok, fletch wot is ceviche ...
  12:53pm Garden Variety Lurker:

"Rinse these women!" Is a turn of phrase worthy of Shakespeare.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm peter_h_christ:

@GListener MW, i was partial to "learn to drive and get the hell out of my state"
  12:54pm fletchernyc:

Raw fish “cooked” in lemon juice
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm Jim H:

ceviche is fish "cooked" in lime juice. it's raw, but the acid renders it. it's not exactly sushi, not quite poke
  12:55pm fletchernyc:

I did time in a Hawaiian fish market
Avatar 12:55pm dale:

i dunno, sometimes i'd like to bathe myself in concealor.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm queems:

  12:55pm zephyr:

Pseu......Ever heard of The Orion Project? Seems to be your wheelhouse....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm Jim H:

Sorry to rant, but will someone please do something about all the podcasts. Who has time to listen to a podcast? And why?
Avatar 12:59pm Pseu Braun:

Played the Orion Experience many times on the show!
Avatar 1:00pm dale:

with all the cooking talk, i just made a bean soup and tried a stove top pressure cooker we picked up at a yard sale (a newish one). unrinsed beans cooked and started to break down beautifully in about 40 minutes.
Avatar 1:00pm Pseu Braun:

who the hell gets arrested at a DD concert? @fletchernyc -- @jimh everyone and their gran has a pudcast
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm Jim H:

it's like everybody feels they need to be a 10-hour NPR segment or something. puh-lease
  1:06pm melinda:

I like podcasts. People can use swear words and have extended, meaty conversations of a sort you don't hear on commercial or public radio.
Avatar 1:10pm Roberto:

Lately when we go on long drives my wife says "I'm going to listen to my podcast now" and that's the end of all conversation for the remainder of the trip.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:11pm peter_h_christ:

cocaine and rhinestones is a very good podcast. david allan coe's son working through the real history of 20th century country music. really well done.
Avatar 1:12pm Listening Out There:

Enjoying PTWAH as usual...
Avatar 1:12pm Single Coil:

This is nice. Sort of a Morrissey thing happening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm peter_h_christ:

but like most tv shows, with podcasts i tend to forget i'm interested in them and stop following them altogether
  1:16pm fletchernyc:

Avatar 1:17pm Jeff Moore:

We usually devote Saturdays to catching up on the week's podcasts while doing stuff about the house – the essentials like On the Media, Planet Money (unglaze your eyes, it's more interesting than what you're assuming from the name), Stay Tuned with Preet, Amicus...
  1:17pm KP in DC:

Helloooo, Pseu!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm Jim H:

The original Krispy Kreme (in Winston-Salem, NC, btw) was between my house and my high school. Skipped second period, usually baked, snuck off-campus and had donuts and coffee with all the local cops.
Avatar 1:42pm dale:

Avatar 2:03pm dale:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm Jim H:

Loved this album. Saw him play b4 E Street.
Avatar 2:05pm Joe McG:

Never heard this version of "Goin' Back." I like it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm Phillippe Bastille:

@Jim he was local to the DC area. Grin played all over the place here. Might've even played a HS dance or two
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:07pm Krys O.:

Thanks for playing Nils, Pseu. Your show is such a comfort in an angst-filled day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:07pm Hughie Considine:

There can never be too much Sparks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm Jim H:

The Nils captured that nostalgic vibe Thanksgiving week always brings. Not sayin' nothin' 'bout no Sparks this time.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:19pm Jim H:

Anyone remember Vin Scelsa and his occasional Ramones attacks?
Avatar 2:21pm Listening Out There:

Wow...PLU on PTWAH. Vicki would like this...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22pm Krys O.:

  2:22pm Andy (DC):

Hi. Can anyone tell what the different components of this PLU track are?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm Jim H:

That's what he would call it when he would break into playing like 3 Ramones songs in a row. IIRC
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25pm rsj:

so many hooks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Vin was my #1 gateway into freeform, firstly on WPLJ in the early 70s. Wish he still had a radio presence( besides showing up on the IBJ last year).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm Itzall Ablurr:

Billy Preston does an incredible version of this on the "Concert For Bangladesh" documentary. The best 5th Beatle!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm Krys O.:

Ah, thanks for explaining, Jim H.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52pm Bill in W.O.:

No such luck for me, judy. I'd trade West Orange for Croton, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm Phillippe Bastille:
