Mr Fab:

We do our part here in the Jungle Room to keep the Halloween spirit all year 'round. Wishing you and yours the very scariest of holiday seasons.
Avatar 6:59pm
spacebrother:

Thanks for that. Yes, this show was recorded as my possible first show.
Avatar 7:00pm
spacebrother:

Here we go.
Avatar 7:03pm
Otis Fodder:

Just got off the bus, ran in and got a seat in the front row! Bonanza!
Avatar 7:03pm
spacebrother:

Hey Otis F!
Avatar 7:04pm
Mr Fab:

Yep, this station had a slightly bumpy beginning, and Spacebrother's schedule was pushed back a week, but no matter.
Avatar 7:04pm
Otis Fodder:

Halloween is a holiday where the music is perfect all year round!
Avatar 7:04pm
spacebrother:

Is Mr. Fab still listening?
Avatar 7:04pm
spacebrother:

I guess that's a "yes"
Avatar 7:05pm
Mr Fab:

You know it.
Avatar 7:06pm
Mr Fab:

Otis! I had to record that Japanese diarrhea song you played last Friday and add it to the stream. So if you hear it folks, blame Otis.
Avatar 7:08pm
spacebrother:

Is that the "I have a bad case of diarrhea" song?
Avatar 7:08pm
Otis Fodder:

Ahhh, that's great Fab!
Avatar 7:09pm
Mr Fab:

Thats the one Greg. Recorded it off the youtubes.
Avatar 7:11pm
spacebrother:

THere's a few more from the same exercise/ learn english show available. Not as good, though.
Avatar 7:12pm
Mr Fab:

I recorded this 5 Jones Boys version off of Dr Demento years ago. (Along with many other things, of course)
Avatar 7:12pm
Mr Fab:

I think it's all acapella! No actual instruments used.
Avatar 7:14pm
spacebrother:

It's my 2nd favorite version. Zeke is the best for me.
Avatar 7:20pm
spacebrother:

I hope my historical comments are reasonably accurate.
Avatar 7:28pm
Otis Fodder:

Love that low note!
Avatar 7:28pm
Mr Fab:

i actually just read "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" recently, probly for the first time.
Avatar 7:30pm
spacebrother:

I don't think I've ever read it. Walt's version is the only one I know. I'm what is known as a "philistine."
Avatar 7:32pm
spacebrother:

Sorry. Allan Sherman 2 weeks in a row.
Avatar 7:33pm
Mr Fab:

"philistine," eh? There MUST be a drag queen named "Phyllis Steen."
Avatar 7:34pm
spacebrother:

or "stein"
Avatar 7:34pm
Otis Fodder:

Never enough Sherman.

spacebrother:

How many of these were on "Ghouls with Attitude?" Embarrassing!
Avatar 7:40pm
Otis Fodder:

This is like Ghouls V2. All eye of newt, I mean new. Monster Surfer needs to be on every Halloween Comp!
Avatar 7:41pm
Otis Fodder:

I love how before the break, he comes in to sing... "well i'm....." and realizes maybe it's not his mark to come in on the song.
Avatar 7:42pm
spacebrother:

Some repeats from the Radio Misterioso Halloween show. Not too much crossover, though.
Avatar 7:44pm
Mr Fab:

I keep my old CD-Rs of "Ghouls With Attitude" in my car - Lil'l Fab loves 'em.
Avatar 7:45pm
spacebrother:

You're raising her right!
Avatar 7:53pm
Mr Fab:

Speaking of kids, Screamin Jay had somethng like 64 of 'em. I came across a flyer asking if YOU were one of them, contact this number. They had a reunion for as many of 'em as they could find.
Avatar 7:55pm
spacebrother:

I heard about that. NOT about the reunion! Woah.
Avatar 8:00pm
Mr Fab:

Th Cramps were the other band you could count on for Halloween shows.

Just saw Danny Elfman singing with "The Nightmare Before Christmas" at the Hollywood Bowl. For an encore he sang, but of course, "Dead Man's Party." Then he dragged Tim Burton out on stage!

Great show, thx Greg!
Avatar 8:01pm
spacebrother:

Thank you! Sorry I missed that Bowl show.
