SKIZZ! Former DJ at WCVT (now defunct) at Towson State Univ., in MD. 1980s. Was a huge fan of his show. Didn't realize he'd gone into filmmaking.

Another reason to see the Fred Lane thing now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm mcgreivey:

@rev Yeah, discogs says there were two on Shimmy Disc. Not sure which I have. Maybe both. I should really listen to my old records more.

WE'VE HAD THIS DISCUSSION BEFORE, PEOPLE. 1971 is the year.
#MissedItByTHATmuch
Avatar 5:24pm northguineahills:

@Roger: Dilemma, give up my cassettes, or have someone make something beautiful w/ them (already have former landlord staff dump a whole box of cassettes and master tapes on the one day of the year I was cleaning my Brooklyn apartment and put it outside my apt door for an hour or so. Still crestfallen).

I do pick up cassettes off the side of the road all the time (less often these days).
  5:25pm melinda:

I was 1 year old in 1972, sounds fun!

If I remember correctly, Sheila interviewed St. Etienne's Bob Stanley and he identified Wichita Lineman as the song that influenced him the most.
