@diciassette: funny that you mention that. Yesterday I was at a small concert in a bar and a guy came in saying he was just out of a Goon Sax show down the street and called it "the band of the son of one of the Go-Between". He left quickly, the music at the bar was a bit too weird for him, so this was very random

Occasionally when I hear an accent that reminds me of someone I can use as a reference point I can guess where they're from. That's what happened with The Goon Sax. One time this guy reminded me of Ray Romano and I said "you're from Queens aren't you." He was amazed!
