I pay attention to Isles pre-season. That's about it.

gotcha!! i pay NO attention to any pre-season sports

well, maybe a little baseball, but very little

Remember at the time of "Come And Get It", there was a nut in NYC who was giving away money? Turned out he had a lot less than he'd claimed to, but at the time I thought that song was about him. Since then I think I heard that was just a coincidence.

Ha, no. I already have that one. it was the Cum Engines release.

ahhh, i don't have that - but, i am trying to be a completist in that realm - not very good on the wallet, tho

reason why i ask about that particular one, is that i happened to see it used - which was strange for where it was. i already have it, should have bought it again

catchiest thing I've ever heard

also picked up the new Bird Streets album - very SOLID!
Joe R.:

Went to see the Cactus Blossoms last night and couldn't help but think of you, Michael :) Can't wait for their next record, believe they said they were wrapping it up. I'm no authority but it sounded like there was at least one number one hit from their new tunes!

@clarke: Crying Your Knife was pressed on a bunch of different color vinyl. So if you're a mental case Bob collector (like me), you'll need all the different colors.

@clarke, Bob's dialed it back a bit in terms of the side projects, except for his lame country-comedy "Cash Rivers" thing. But it turned out to be a good investment. The first LP is going for over $150 on Discogs!

oh yeah - but you would never sell, riight??
Avatar #1 Hit Supporter Hellraiser 2022 Swag For Life Member 11:33am

Prob not. But that stuff would be the first to go if I did.

I was just thinking about how well the sentiment of "Guys & Dolls" holds up cross-culturally. From what I've seen, remarkably well in that women seem to have more expensive and exacting tastes than men. Anybody know of a culture with a notable exception to that?

I agree about the album and the great idea.

i am an ostrich, but i HAVE just learned that lindsey is now suing FMac - a bit weird. guess it is his way of revenge.

although very convoluted and drawn out revenge, methinks...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm
Uncle Michael:

Revenge? I'm not sure I'd see it that way. One presumes he's a partner in Fleetwood Mac LLC and that he'd have a say in such matters. The lost income is considerable. It just seems like business to me.

well, it is an attempt. LB's premise is that he was to put out a record - but then, he didn't/hasn't. of course, one can say that the firing delayed it, but c'mon.

and, believe me, i am a buckingham sider in all this - had Fmac not chosen THOSE TWO exact guys they would be written off by me!!

btw, the lindsey album Blue Light is now due out next year early

Hey, Michael, really great interview! And yes, all those kids you see playing on the streets in New Orleans are 'Travelers'... they leave for summer, and are generally considered a nuisance by locals who live in the Quarter and have to listen to them argue all night with each other (like I did). But yeah, was good to hear his take on it. Thanks!
