Hi! Been listening, first on the car, then fed the dog and took care of some stuff at home. Loved the Wayne Shorter, haven't paid too much attention to they album (usually put on the classic 65 Blue Notes). It struck me how much it reminded me of electric Ornette from 8 years later! Maybe Ornette was paying some attention to the Miles orbit electric outings
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm doctorjazz:

And Shorter must have been paying attention to Ornette.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm KimSorise:

it does a bit - i don’t think I every put those together - it also strangely is reminiscent of Don Cherry to me as well
Avatar 7:52pm TDK60:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:15pm KimSorise:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm Uncle Michael:

There's a new sheriff in town?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm listener james from westwood:

Heh, always nice to hear this entire Lou track after Kenzo's teased it with loops so many times!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm KimSorise:

When you’re stuck between going one way or another - play a song for Melinda.
Avatar 8:45pm northguineahills:

james beat me to it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm KimSorise:

Am I boring you NGH? Or do you work nights?
Avatar 8:47pm TDK60:

Ho, Street Hassle; you are unleashing them on us tonight.
Avatar 8:50pm TDK60:

I'd gladfully swear in front of a public notary that this is a killer bass riff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:51pm Uncle Michael:

The notary might object to profanity.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:53pm KimSorise:

Ahh... who care - it is a bad ass bass riff
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm doctorjazz:

Great Lou!
Thanks Kim!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm listener james from westwood:

My mom was a notary and swore like General Patton. You'd have been comfortable with her.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:56pm Uncle Michael:

thanks, Kim
Avatar 8:57pm TDK60:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm KimSorise:
