I didn't quite "feel" the motivation of the toe character. Can we get some exposition? Some back-story? Was there a tragedy needing closure?

If you don't dive into Deadwood, Greg, Ian McShane is worth seeking out whatever the hell he's doing. (You may hear more about him with the second season of American Gods nearing completion or air, and the long-delayed Deadwood HBO movie nearing production.)

9/17/2001 was the day I had tix to see Acid Mothers Temple, but they couldn't get into the country. That was the second time I had tix and they couldn't make it. 3 years earlier, Makota Karabata fell ill. 2008, they couldn't get visas (the third time). but the fourth and fifth time worked out perfect before I left NYC.
