"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

Belfegore were German, weren't they? I remember a Conny Plank-produced record by them that isn't quite as moody as this track.

  10:36am egould310:

Yes! Naked Raygun is one of my faves. One of my first punk shows was NR and Big Black in the basement venue in Muncie, IN at the No Bar & Grill.
  10:44am egould310:

Big Black really brought the fireworks that evening.

Literally, Steve Albini detonated a milk crate full of fire crackers, bottle rockets and smoke bombs. The whole place was filled with acrid smoke. Sweaty teens slam dancing while sweat and snot and tears poured out of our heads. All hopped up on Jolt! cola.
Avatar 10:50am D. Lightfoot:

I hate my life but it doesn't care--just hangs around all the time anyway, out of spite I think.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:36am crateslinger:

Avatar 11:53am coelacanth∅:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:55am peapod ross:

if geese could, they would eliminate humans. I've seen them try it on individuals.
Avatar 11:57am coelacanth∅:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:57am peapod ross:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:58am peapod ross:

little dinosaurs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm peapod ross:

@coel - most humans would probably want to eradicate the human at this point.
Avatar 12:00pm ledzeppelinsucks:

a few of them were hissing at a little girl and chasing her years ago she ran into water to get away and drowned
Avatar 12:01pm ledzeppelinsucks:
