Are the Swans as loud as I've heard tale of?
Avatar 8:08pm Bill Mac:

YES... I tried to find something on the fly here... brace yourself...
Avatar 8:10pm Bill Mac:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm Asheville Jon:

Hooray for the Original Sins! Sure do miss these guys! Used to see them in the Valley. Sigh, the 'good old days'
Avatar 9:01pm Bill Mac:

JT's still making records.. but I would've liked to have caught them back then...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:02pm Asheville Jon:

Yeah, he sure does. And he makes some REALLY bizarre youtube videos
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:04pm Asheville Jon:

Big Soul had a write up in Rolling Stone magazine
Avatar 9:11pm Bill Mac:

JT is still one of my favorites....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:12pm Asheville Jon:

Me too. Just wish I were closer to be able to catch him when he plays.
Used to see The Sins at The Funhouse in Bethlehem. Super tiny bar, the "stage" was a recessed section along a wall where people would walk past on their way to the back of the bar. There are a couple Funhouse videos on the tube of you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13pm Asheville Jon:

You literally had to time your walking past the band so that you wouldn't bump into the necks of the the guitars!
Avatar 9:15pm Bill Mac:

Of me? Not me Jon, I've never been to the Funhouse. I usually wait for him to get down Philly way. Too lazy to drive the 60 miles north!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:16pm Asheville Jon:

no, just saying in general
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:16pm Asheville Jon:

i'll be in Philly next weekend. taking the kids to see the Phillies
Avatar 9:18pm Bill Mac:

Great! Haven't been to the park for a few years now, but they've been interesting to follow this year
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:20pm Asheville Jon:

Yeah. I'm a die hard Phils fan. Last year was beyond miserable. This year started a bit rough, but it's been a really sweet season so far. Even if they don't stay in first place or make the playoffs, their season was still a huge success and improvement from last year. I haven't been to the stadium for 7 years.
Avatar 9:22pm Bill Mac:

My Brother had seasons tickets for most of those golden years a few years back... twas great to get down there a few times every year
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm Asheville Jon:

Last time I was there, I caught the middle game of Cliff Lee's (something like) 27 scoreless innings streak. Fun times. Hopefully they can keep building and get even better for the next couple years.
Avatar 9:30pm Bill Mac:

They were good days.... the missus has been to two games at the new stadium... I think we saw WS game 5 in '08 and caught Halliday's no-hitter in 2010
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:31pm Asheville Jon:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37pm Asheville Jon:

Here's a yoootoooob video of The Creatures Of The Golden Dawn at the Funhouse. It shows how small the place is right around here:
Avatar 9:45pm Bill Mac:

Funny, most of the places I've seen him at loook like this-and I mean that in a good way!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:45pm Asheville Jon:

Have a good night, GO PHILLIES!!!
Thanks for the fun show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46pm Asheville Jon:

Nice! The smaller the better. Check out some other videos of the Funhouse/Sins. The people taking them were probably literally standing 5 feet away from the band.
Avatar 9:46pm Bill Mac:

Thanks for keeping me company Jon Go Phils!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52pm melinda:

I like Amir.
Avatar 9:53pm Bill Mac:

Hey Melinda, yeah this is a nice one
