Safe travels! Still waiting for my postcard...?

Doug Schulkind:

Not a problem. We are chillaxing after a delirious stay on the wild island of Ikaria. First time I’m not hearing goats bleating for two weeks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15am
Jeff Golick:

Those goats might need to see a vet, if the bleats last for two weeks? (Hey-o!)

This rhythm section - Reggie Workman & Milford Graves - still with us!

A Gatwick must be the wick by which you light your gat. A black powder-fired gat, I'd imagine.

Odd tune for the Ware group. Sort of like the way Rollins chose tunes out of left field.

Hi, @coel! @Andrew!

Dean:

Looks like a vase with a stem.

Took "lunch" or "coffee" (or "liberties")? Driving "to" the chapel?
  11:14am
Dean:

Actually, "Supersession" is an interesting title, an effective pun.
  11:15am
Dean:

E.g., OED: "The setting aside, abrogation, or annulment of a rule, law, authority, conditions, etc."

DS, does that mean I have to go to Greece to get the wireless working again on this laptop? (Former owner Nancy named it Magic Bus.)
  11:44am
Dean:

I'm discovering "innovations" through revisiting 20th century classical music, e.g., interpretations of Bartok's or Hindemith's string quartets. Not true innovations, of course, but new and ear-opening to me.

Listener Gregory:

Very interesting interview. I heard Rowe with other Erstwhile musicians in a concert once, knowing nothing about them. I went through the typical four stages: surprise, anger, acceptance, and appreciation. Since then have bought a number of his albums and liked them quite a bit. Didn't really know about AMM, so I have learned something (against all odds) today.
