  6:32am testingwithfire:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:35am Kevin-san:

Good morning Jeffrey and Planet People, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood (in NJ, at least)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38am Jeffrey Davison:

Kevin-san: welcome, and yeah any day is a good day where I'm not roasting.
Avatar 6:41am spamoni:

@Jeffrey yeah to say it was brutal is putting it mildly!
Avatar 6:45am spamoni:

A lot of late stragglers to class this morning.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47am Planet Tyler:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47am annie:

Avatar 6:48am spamoni:

We need Annie's words of wisdom for the day!
Avatar 6:49am spamoni:

Speaking of welcome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50am annie:

hi spamoni! i could see how equate all these differing pet-sit scenarios to life as we know it.. i'll ponder on that
Avatar 6:51am spamoni:

Great subject!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54am Jeffrey Davison:

  7:05am Lynn's Brother:

Morning Jeff! Hey, just had removed a cataract from my right eye. I’ve been walking around for the better part of a year like Mr. Magoo! Ugh! Now I see with 20- x vision.
  7:06am Lynn's Brother:

Will have cataract surgery on left eye in August. Then I’ll be 20-20.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:12am Planet Tyler:

@J My doggo and I are always listening, just usually too lazy to type it :)
Avatar 7:13am TDK60:

Morning Pleneteers. // Welcome to our nation of Liberty refugees, we'll tear your family apart and put your children in prison.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17am Planet Tyler:

The first time I heard this song it was Einstürzende Neubauten doing it lol
Avatar 7:21am TDK60:

Always interesting to hear different versions of Morning Dew.
Avatar 7:26am Diezel Tea:

@Planet Tyler yeah that was my same introduction to Morning Dew. Still the best cover, naturally of course.)
Avatar 7:33am TDK60:

My introduction to Morning Dew was via the Grateful Dead's 1st album, then Jeff Beck's 1st solo LP "Truth"... then other folky versions.
  7:36am Cooh John:

Good morning JD and planeteers. My morning solace and then off to the j-o-b.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37am jkeigh:

A late good morning to everyone. Back from the Laundromat but have been enjoying the show since the Budd opening. That Carl Stone release is great along with the others on Bandcamp! Highly recommended.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40am Jeffrey Davison:

Hey there Diezel Tea, Lynn's Brother, TDK60, Cooh John, jkeigh...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45am annie:

i enjoyed a splendid birthday week, treating friends to lunch/dinner/ coffee, what-have-you. it's an excellent way to shoo depression away. and i was reminded of a valuable quality of mine: i am lovable. woot!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48am jkeigh:

Happy Birthday Annie (or belated if it were a few days ago). I'm glad to hear that you've had a pleasant week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:59am annie:

thanks jayk!! it was a splendid week.
  8:07am Luke:

Didn’t Tim Rose claim to have written Hey Joe also?
Avatar 8:07am TDK60:

According to Wikipedia, Bonnie Dobson did record the first version of "Dew" -a live version on the "At Folk City" album in 1962. The Fred Neil and Vince Martin version played today was the first studio version.
Avatar 8:08am spamoni:

@ annie, and many more!!
  8:09am Luke:

I have the Tim Rose cover. He opened for the Dead.
Avatar 8:15am TDK60:

..Then Tim Rose offered to revise the lyrics and share co-writing credit with Dobson; then, Dobson wasn't pleased as the changes were minimal. She retained 75% of royalties. (caution: Wikip. not always right)
  8:24am Luke:

You can change Wikipedia when you see something wrong.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43am annie:

Avatar 8:46am Fredericks:

Avatar 8:52am TDK60:

The show nearing its end far too soon, for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54am Jeffrey Davison:

Luke: yeah, more or less. There's info online. You can read about the controversy...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54am Jeffrey Davison:

Thanks all for listening. Always turning up good stuff!
